Re: Flashing from linux?
supposedly pofs HTCFlasher app will work with (possibly) any of the newer devices that use the .nbh format. Anyone brave enough to try it out? I'm curious if it will work for the TP or not, as it's not on their "incomplete compatability" list.

By the way I thought it was quite slow so I would probably continue using a memory card to flash. |

why don't you post how you found a way to flash using Linux instead of just saying you did? Have you tried Ubuntu? That is the smoothest, easiest, cleanest Linux I've ever used and I've used a few everything from Mandrake to Suse to Gentoo to Knoppix and even RedHat... Ubuntu is what I like the best... Shoot any them are good! |

Re: Flashing from linux?
if he uses that, he would have to install windows in those right? If so, nullifies the whole point because it would still be using Windows to flash.

What distro? Maybe try talking to Pof to see if the bugs can be worked out, or if anybody else cares, I suppose. Everything cool is GSM, and making it work could be as simple as differentiating between the different versions of the Raphael. |

Re: Flashing from linux?
I bricked my phone (HTC Titan) a year ago by flashing from linux.
luckily I could get back to the bootloader and flash from SD card. I'd have to just recommend flashing from SD (that's what i do, as I refuse to use windows!) |
