What's the default pagepool with this rom? Specifically v1.6a titanium? (which I assume is the same as the tf3d one)

Also, the link for v1.6 is broken. (btw what's the difference between the 1.6 and the 2 1.6a's?

default pp is 24 but i always use 16. diff btn 1.6 n 1.6a's is that it has fixes n stuff but read first post n you'll see

FYI EVERYONE: Whoever is having the TF3D problems here is what I did and now things are perfect!!! Just download THE COMPLETE xboxmod manilla v1D{i think theres 5 cabs totalF right to your device, it installs over the manilla cooked into the rom and now everything is perfect, contacts works perfect and TF3D doesnt crash at all

I assume the changelog for 1.6a is the stuff between the screen shots and the actual changelog. I don't know why I didn't assume that earlier, guess I just had a brain fart.

Although you may be right, and a 16mb pagepool may be best with this rom, I always use (and recommend) a 24mb pagepool (at least with non-verizon tps). Yes you sacrifice a little ram (which I think we have more than enough of, especially with a WM 6.5 rom), but you gain extra speed. Ram is only good up to a point, and since we are no longer ram deficient (Moguls), the benefit of speed far outweighs the incremental gain in ram. What good is all the ram if your system is slower to respond?

Anyways, a friend and I have actually tested this on the Copper rom, which is 16mb by default. We found changing it to 24mb made the rom even faster.

Do you just use a 16mb pagepool just because others have suggested it in general? Or:
Have you done actual pagepool testing with this rom?
What's your reasoning behind using a 16mb pp?

I just don't think the extra ram you get from a lower pp is worth the loss in speed. I might eventually play around with it on this rom, but I am a fan of 24mb.

I tried out this ROM for the first time on Monday. I had a few issues, but I liked this ROM better than any of the other more popular ones or ones I had cooked myself using PPCK.

I got a text message from my boss (also a TP owner. He sold me the Apache that got me into WM) about the new release of this ROM... I was excited.

I've had a few problems with this release.

1) trying to open a text message from TF3D2 shows the new style messaging screen, but with nothing. The details section is all messed up. According to that screen, my GF is 408 years old and her work number is "y"
2) TF3D2 has been crashing pretty consistently after about 30 seconds of use. I even got to the point where I got an error on my today screen about how TF couldn't be loaded.
3) there was something else that wasn't working properly, but i can't remember it.

EDIT:
4) pressing the flipclock no longer loads gAlarm, it opens the call history and then locks up.

I will be reverting back to the previous 1.6 version.

So far, everything is running really fast and smooth. Does anybody know how to get the StarROM background as the TouchFlo wallpaper?

OK FOR PEOPLE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH TF3D PLEASE READ: sarman knows about the problems and is fixong. In the meantime just go to xda and download the FULL MANILA v1D and install ALL cab EXCEPT #5 which is for program icons and will screw up some programs, but as I was saying, install the full manilla AND CDMA FIX cab also, right over the cooked in manila and everything will run fine.
