Re: StarROM 6.5 5.2.21198 Touch Pro V1.2 (Rhodium + clock patched to G-Alarm)

tried all the other 6.5 with TF3D-2. and this is by far the best one. Noticed that all the 6.5 versions have a problem with the task manager X button is gone. anyone find a fix for that yet? I'll be staying with this rom for a bit and testing it out.

thank you for your hard work.

Re: StarROM 6.5 5.2.21198 Touch Pro V1.2 (Rhodium + clock patched to G-Alarm)

I really liked this ROM until I was out and about today. Using google maps or windows live search (maps), whenever I turned on the GPS the phone restarts after a few seconds. Maybe it's me, maybe it's hardware. I'll probably reflash just in case, but I'd be interested to hear if I'm the only one with the GPS issue..

I've had this ROM going on my phone for 4 days now. I use GPS many times every day, and haven't had this problem. What apps have you installed?

Just got back from a trip and used google maps, livesearch and GPS lock was instant. Also used Igo8 perfect and even the advanced TTS worked where it hasn't on other roms that only the tts without street names worked. So far I have used the ROM almost constantly without fail. Battery hasn't been that great but I have been using it far more than normal so that may be why. I'll have a better idea about battery after a few more days.

IMO it works great to use wktask instead. then you get a real task manager/switcher battery bar, so you can hide the battery icon using diamond tweak and save valuable icon space ( I like to have the clock full time instead of the battery so i can see the time in any program without having to switch to the homescreen.

It also has a great quick launch feature. I like to put my most used programs on there like Resco file explorer and Opera Mini and assign wktask launcher to a hardware key ( I use ae button and put wktask launcher as double red button press so there is no menu navigation when you want to launch a program. Then I assign WKtask to enter button triple press which will then select the running programs then you can arrow through tem and hit enter to bring it to front instead of having to thumbfiddle with the small icons when you cant for some reason.

Re: StarROM 6.5 5.2.21198 Touch Pro V1.2 (Rhodium + clock patched to G-Alarm)

I must also say that Bluetooth has been really solid so far. Its always been sort of sketchy with random disconnects and sometimes poor audio quality on all roms. I had numerous conversations in different locations and configurations on my car bluetoth Moto t505, earpieces H710 & H12 and Samsung sbh500 stereo headset

Also the first time that I have been able to control the TF3D music tab with the stereo headset. On all previous roms when I tried to control with the headset it would either lauch WMP or only control WMP. This is the first time I've been able to control TF3D music tab. Nice to see the albums art flip remotely now....

I like this Rom, I just don't like how the Start menu icons are soo small.

Nice Rom tho .

Thumbs up Re: StarROM 6.5 5.2.21198 Touch Pro V1.2 (Rhodium + clock patched to G-Alarm)

Well so far so good I am very impressed, everything is running smooth so far, quick too...I really do not like the text messaging ui in tf3d with single line text and not showing whole text lame, not you I know.
Question though, is the classic dialpad your default or 6.5 and is there anyway to change it? I really like the black dialpad even if it is a memory hog.

Thanks Friend, awsome rom!=D>

P.S. not a fan of the apple joke so I disabled it with dt but you should personalize the splash screen with something labeling your work...like a star or something.

now, I am going to go thank you with a click!

Oh yeah almost forgot, I am on a Bell phone.
