myphone is stuck at the bootloader screen. it said i had a error with my updatrom utility. is there a different utility i need to use for 6.5 roms? when i did the flash it went all the way to 100% and then said that error. shoud i try redownloading the file agian and try again?

You probably just had a bad flash I would just flash again.

ya i found out what the problem was. im using opera 10 web browser and it put the link out why it is still downloading. that why i got the error because it was still downloading when i tried to flash. im re downloading the file and making sure the file is all the way down loaded. i was trying to edit my post but when i hit summit it didnt do anything i guess i took to long.

Ok let me start by saying that this rom is incredible. I love it and have had no problems with it at all. The only thing I have noticed is that opera is very choppy. When I tap the screen to scroll around a web page it is very choppy (Almost sluggish like) . Anybody else here have that problem with this rom? Other than that it is amazing. Anybody have any ideas for this?

ok sense i have flashed i have had no problems with touchflo restarting and i have been using it none stop sense i flashed and my batt has not gone down so thats a good thing. the only thing how do i set up my hot mail. it ask for sever information what am i suppost to put? other then that it's great. the 6.5 interface and tf are vary smooth does not lag. about the opera use the opera 9.5 bata 2. it's alot faster and it does not look choopy.

It will automatically get the server information. Just put in your e-mail, password and just keep clicking next. It will say Found Hotmail settings, then you are on your way.


Anyone find this funny, my father came by with his TP, and I flased star rom for him. He liked it a lot, he went to work and some of his guys on his team seen his phone, and wanted the same thing. My father gave them my number, now I'm getting $30 per flash lol. There is like 20 of them. I find this so funny.


Anyone good at making picture/borders. We need a Star Rom border for sigs.

I looked but didn't see anything; how do I remove the programs tab? TFLO customizer won't let me.... and I don't see the point of having it since the 6.5 start menu is in there. Thanks,

Well my friend for you well have to start charging $50 a download. I don't charge nothing for my ROM what's up with that. $30 for 5 min worth of work. I put about 40 hrs into this ROM and haven't charged u a thing?

I find this ridiculous. The whole purpose of a site like this is to share information and you are completely taking advantage of this notion by charging for something that could easily be done for free. This is not something you should be proud of. :angry7:

2) They are offering to pay for it

3) I'm at responsible if anything happens to there phone, so im not going to do it for free. Why should I accept this responsibility for nothing.

Some of you need to lay off of me. I'm sure you charge people for things you can do for free. I'm not going to take the risk of bricking someones phone for free.

I have been helping a lot in here. Maybe you should look into a donate button. So now people are going to be mad at me for getting money by flashing roms for people. I tell them where to go to learn how to do this, they say its to technical for them. They want me to take time out of my busy life and take the responsibility of the risk of the phone bricking. I will not do that for free, because if something happen, im sure they will charge me to get it fixed.

Also I never said I will charge, they said they will pay for me to do it.

Now everyone has a problem with me. Ok fine, im done helping man. I getting called stupid now. Just because someone is willing to pay me $30 to do something they can't do. I'm sure if something happens during the time of unlocking or flashing, I have to pay for them to get a new phone.

I totally understand what your saying here but dont come in the mans thread who spends hours upon hours making this for us FOR FREE about how much money your making off HIS work. If it was me Id at least offer a piece to the cook.

Been using this for a couple of days now. The WeatherMaster Rhodium works well, except for no foreign countries still (not Star's problem, just some info). I was able though to add Rinkydinkville USA and can confirm it worked as well as the old version did on 6.1.

I recommend these tweaks from XDA, they speed up TF3D nicely.

Boost TFL3D Performance --> Using Advanced Config, change File system cache to 8mb and file system filter cache to 131072
Tested and works a treat. TF3D is sluggish and prone to long pauses before tweak, much faster afterwards

Boost TFL3D Performance --> HKLM\System\Storagemanager\Fatfs and change key Cachesize from 16384 to 32768
Much quicker than number 1 on it’s own, now stonkingly fast.
Added the Fuzeberry theme and replaced the manilla file contained in this thread to get the clock working properly and patched to galarm (absolute genius idea IMHO). Also used the arcsoft mms cab (Alltel version) to fix the picture messages. With these minor frustrations out of the way, two days later I can say that without any doubt this is the best ROM I have ever used. It really is the dogs bollocks of a ROM and I couldn't recommend an improvement if I thought about it for a month, this is as good as a ROM gets. Thank you VERY much for your work on this.

+1 I completely agree, I would gladly donate also. Starman, will 1.5 be based on the same thing? I hope you keep the manilla, too many people are going with the plain 6.5, I think its too boring, plus you got something going here, I havent had 6.5 AND TF3D2running so well together on ANY ROM! I LOVE IT!

ok i have everything up and running now and it's running great. 2 things though. 1 when im in tf in edit contacts i can add pic's to the contacts, but i found a way around it. by going back to the 6.5 interface going to contacts and editting the pic there and it works on tf now but i have to go back every time to adda pic. 2 the clock is 1 hour behind i went to the atr rom and got the fix for it but when the phone goes to sleep and i turn it back on it goes back and a hour still and i have to change it back each time. is the a fix for it to wear i dont have to keep changing it to were it needs to be?

i would put up screen shots but it not letting do so. is there a number of post i need to have to do that or is there somthing else i need to do so?

I posted a mirror already for version 1.3 and 1.4 I posted bundles of Cab files that help many many people with the issues that was in the rom. You guys should look back, because I spent a lot of hours in here helping.

Can you tell me which version of opera do I need to get rid of the choppy feel? I know you say opera 9.5 beta 2 but what version number is that or where can I get it. This is the only problem I am having with this ROM.

THANK YOU... THANK YOU... THANK YOU... I can't say it enough. I hit the "thanks" button. Have used a few other G5 roms and they were good starting points. One worked quickly but couldn't use the keyboard, which defeats the purpose of slide out keyboard. Another one everything more or less worked, except for annoying thing with having to set my clock after a soft- reset and it was extremely slow. Your rom however is surprising quick, no real hangup after 12+ hours. Everything works!!! Thanks again...

ok now im really having a problem. when i flashed this rom was about 10am yesterday i played with it all day cuz i was off from work. i went to bed about 12am. now that it is 7:30am i grabed my phone and tryed to turn it on it wouldnt turn on the throttel lock was not wantting to work so i soft reset when it starts to boot. it gets to the touch pro screen witch is the first boot screen. at the bottom of the screen the radio drivers and all that stuuf that comes up when u turn ur phone on. well thats about all my phone does now. i still can put it in bootloader i can try and reflash. or u think a hardreset might work? for hard reset the phone has to be off then hold volum up soft reset and power botton, right?

hey starman, finally i flash your lastest rom and only 1 word to say...is awsome (guess that 2 words actually). there is only the program tab in TF3D2 that bugs me and i think i saw a cab flotting some where that we could remove the tab. if anyone have handy...could you post it?
