Wow this is a great ROM. Thanks so much...

Re: StarROM 6.5 5.2.21202 Touch Pro V1.4 (Rhodium clock patched to G-Alarm)
I must be the only one having troubles with this. So far, with nothing installed but the base 1.4 ROM, I have had manilla crash a few times at random, and the phone has randomly HARD RESET itself twice since yesterday! I woke up this morning, and it was locked up, so I soft reset it just to be welcomed by the "setup your device" prompt. All my stuff was wiped out both times this happened. Any insight?

Re: StarROM 6.5 5.2.21202 Touch Pro V1.4 (Rhodium clock patched to G-Alarm)
I just flashed this wanting a 6.5 rom to mess with for a few days, but I think I'm gonna just go ahead and keep it for a while. It's quick, and I'm really digging Titanium.
Thanks starmans. |

Yes, arcsoft is better than sprint picmail...it is so much faster and just easier to use.

Re: StarROM 6.5 5.2.21202 Touch Pro V1.4 (Rhodium clock patched to G-Alarm)
Does anyone use pocket outlook connecting to gmail through imap? The only annoyances i am having right now are my messaging inbox will popup automatically after a reset and randomly, possibly when it comes to it's setting of check mail every 15 mins. I got this on 1.2 1.3 & now 1.4
I also have opera mini now wanting to install everytime i start it up so i have to accept and then recheck my font settings although it keeps my bookmarks and history. I did move my shortcuts in my programs folder, but that shouldnt matter and I moved them back but the issue still remains. This is a major annoyance since this is my main app, so can anyone confirm that their opera mini does not reinstall everytime it is launched... |

I see that Starman posted the 1.4 fixes notifications' snooze intervals. It actually doesn't as far as I can tell. I still had to disable the notifications in the registry so that the default notification replaces it with the proper snooze intervals.

Re: StarROM 6.5 5.2.21202 Touch Pro V1.4 (Rhodium clock patched to G-Alarm)
SOLVED:
I figured out what was causing the messaging to popup on reboot or randomly. I unchecked display account picker when opening messaging which I have always unchecked. But now leaving it checked stops the problem.... Thank god for that The Opera mini must have had to do with moving the shortcut link in the program folder and uninstall reinstalls would nto fix it so i hard reset and reinstalled and everything is fine with it. |

Re: StarROM 6.5 5.2.21202 Touch Pro V1.4 (Rhodium clock patched to G-Alarm)
WTH... I redownload 1.4 and get everything setup perfectly. no bugs and then the last thing I do is go to setup my Galarm and when i click the clock on the TF3D homepage it goes to WORLD CLOCK which is one of the main reasons why i loved this ROM is it's auto mapping to Galarm without having to use the overhead of SSMAPAHO.. Damn.. Starman do you have the manila file that i can replace so i dont have to spend another 3 hours reinstalling/configing everything AGAIN.......
I also notice that I am not getting the double popup of the native incominc call bubble over S2A. Star on your update post you say the 1.4 is the same download. Are you sure you didn't change anything? This is my 4th install of 1.4 on 2 different touch pros with the same issues and this 1.4 I just downloaded is missing galarm and doesn't have this issue. Thx.. if you're still alive... Hopefully you're busy working on something because Juicy and Mighty are getting a lot of love for a ROM that is far behind what yours was a over a week ago. |

Thanks! No just the holyclock.cab that i have always installed and didn't remap it before on 1.2-4. Not knowing how soon you could respond i went ahead and patched it with .4 version of ssmapaho and I killed the clock and mapped the alarm press to galarm which is my most preferred config because i hate how easy it is to press the clock inadvertently. Previously SSMA would crash most of the time on auto launch out of a soft reset, but so far on the first reset with this new version. it has held up |
Re: StarROM 6.5 5.2.21202 Touch Pro V1.4 (Rhodium clock patched to G-Alarm)
This Rom is stable I love it have had no problems since I flashed a few days ago...everything works can't say much bout s2a bc I don't use it.....get this ROM! It is definately worth the flash.

use sprite backup to backup your phone, save it to your memory card of course, and hard reset your phone, then reinstall the sprite backup file. It should run smooth after that, i might get a freeze every now and then, but for the most part none |
Re: StarROM 6.5 5.2.21202 Touch Pro V1.4 (Rhodium clock patched to G-Alarm)
This is one heck of a ROM! It is loaded, and is very smooth. Add some fuzeberry into the recipe and this is a beast of a ROM. I wouldn't even know where to begin with something like this.
THANK YOU!! |

Re: StarROM 6.5 5.2.21202 Touch Pro V1.4 (Rhodium clock patched to G-Alarm)
One benefit of having the world clock still enabled is that I could correct the timezone for my city and then my weather forecasts would also show up in my calendar and then I used ssmapaho to kill the clock button and rout the alarm button to galarm.
Anyone using ssmapaho to make it work just change to manil2.exe on the init line the proceed as normal. |
Re: StarROM 6.5 5.2.21202 Touch Pro V1.4 (Rhodium clock patched to G-Alarm)
I just atended an event at our city arena where about a month ago and I get a weak signal there and I went from 100% battery to low batt warning in about 30mins with a hot phone on Mighty 4.16 aand I just got back from a similar event in the same section started at 6 and now it is 1030 and I have at least 60% battery left. Best battery performance I have ever got out of a PPC. Awesome!

Re: StarROM 6.5 5.2.21202 Touch Pro V1.4 (Rhodium clock patched to G-Alarm)
im just amking sure of somthing, i herd of this rom on spj and thought i would come over and check it out. does this 6.5 rom have TF3d2 cooked in, or is it just the 6.5 interface? becasue i would like to have both, and have the option to switch to 6.5 interface or tf3d2. i've read good things about this room here and over at spj and would like to flash. so far sense i have been looking through all 6.5 roms this one has the most credit for all the fixs u have put in and runs the smoothes. so i would like to hear back on this. thanks alot.
