Wow that sucks - I hope you are ok. Good luck with everything and can't wait to see more of your work. Your ROM is the best out there in my opinion and the 1.7 that you posted earlier is working very well at this time. Give my regards to your Touch Pro

A sad day for all, your unfortunate luck, the loss of your TP, and the regretful delay of the latest completed rom release.

wew, thank God Ur ok.
That being said I have benn running your 1.7version and find it very usable for everyday use, BUT:
1-The pretty Opera 9.5Beta suks b*lls in refresing screen as I scroll I have to wait for image to appear.
I installed an older opera which works well.

2- I get occasional random freezes lasting 1-2sec either when using manila, or when going into startmenu. this does not happen all the time, just occasionally.

3- battery life is ok but not as good as some past roms I had.

Other than that all seems well, this rom is pretty smooth, especially scrolling.
I have telenav, sprint TV with fix, and it works where other roms didnt.

I've just installed 1.7 with TouchFlo. I was able to sync before, and now I can't. I deleted my partnership and it does not see it... I CAN connect in Disk mode. Do I need ot do something special? I DID NOT reset my phone after the upgrade, do I need to do that?

Yes a hard reset is a MUST after every rom flash.

also go into active sync on your phone and see how many comps are listed? sometimes active sync on the phone creates multiple comps (even if you use the same comp) and those have to be deleted

Ok, another question... Is there a registry edit, or setting where I can change where the main page "Pictures" points to? I think it defaults to My Documents, but I want it to point to my storage card. I didn't see a way to change it.

I hard reset my device, and still no activesync. I am running StarRom 1.7 TouchFlo and Windows 7. I deleted my partnership on the PC and there is none listed on the PC or device. When I connect the device, I tell it ActiveSync and it does absolutly nothing... Any Ideas?

Nevermind. If you go to Settings > Connections > USB to PC, I had to uncheck the "Enable Faster Data Syncronization" box. That was it....

Downloaded StarRom 1.7m and I must say, really nice work. I used Your StarRom 1.3a for over a month and it worked flawlessly, a little high on memory consumption, about 64-68%. StarRom 1.7m at about 45-55% depending on useage. The only bug I have noticed is text messaging on 6.5 gives me an error that says "SIM isn't inserted into the phone." If I use text messaging thru all messages, works great. Not a big deal, but would be nice if that bug could be fixed because I really liked that over plain looking text messaging ui. Keep up the GREAT work.
