MightyRom 4.16 observations......

I have a Sprint TouchPro activated on my Verizon account & it works very very well.

I have probably flashed the thing 30 times since I activated it last November. The phone is LOADED with programs/apps/tweaks etc etc etc When I tell people that I take full advantage of all the capabilities of this thing I'm not kidding.

I have a 16 gig Sandisk card that has over 12 gigs of stuff on it. It is full of ripped DVD movies/GPS programs/MP3's/pictures/ etc etc etc. I use SlingMobile everyday to get 200 cable TV channels (including all the on demand channels) & when I am in my truck the video out automatically puts the TV image on my 7" DVD/NAV screen & hooks the sound to my killer stereo.

I use a Motorola S9 HD stereo BT headset for TV & music & extended cell phone use. I use WMwifirouter to connect my Ipod Touch to my unlimited data package as I prefer to use Safari to any of the WM options (although I do love Opera Mini). I use Vito SMS-Chat with TouchPal KB in T+ as I find that is WAY faster than using the hardware KB.

I use the compressed version of TF3D HD (customized by me) as I love all the features & it works perfectly for me & is fast & very smooth. I use Inesoft Phone 4 & too many other cool programs to list them all here.

The point of all this is simply that I am finally 100% done flashing. This ROM works PERFECTLY in every single detail & I can't see a single reason to change anything at this point. When the new TouchPro 2 comes out I suppose I will start this whole process over again, but for now I am 100% happy with this setup...

i know you said you have too many cool programs to list, but can you provide a couple? I'm looking for some more programs. I agree 4.16 works perfect but i made the switch to juicy's rom yesterday just for tf3d2.

That was not my intention at all, I don't think I've ever once "showed off" my phone to anybody (I could care less what anybody else thinks of my phone to be honest with you). My ONLY intention here was too praise this ROM, I only provided the details I did to show how well it's working with a vast array of different programs........

Could not agree any more, Mike rom is the only reason why I still use my touch pro. I think Sprint should pay him for making the touch pro so successful. For me the stock rom was unusable and would have probablyh returned the thing if it wasn't for MightyRom!

Re: MightyRom 4.16 observations......

I concur. It is my 1st ROM flash so I have no frame of reference. The one thing I noticed from yesterday to today was battery life. I flashed yesterday and charged to 100%. My Sprint ROM TP would only last 6-7 hours at best with light usage. Well, I unplugged last night at 8pm. I have done moderate use. It is now 12pm the next day and I am finally down to 30%. That is a cell phone life changer. Before I was always worrying where my next charge was coming from and now I don't. Thanks again MightyROM!

I forgot about that, I got use to the new battery life that I forgot how horrible the battery life was with the stock and other custom roms I tried in the past. That was my primary reason for wanting to get rid of this phone.

Agreed. I primarily run mightyROM 4.16. Im taking Juicy's recent ROM for a spin just to see the new interface. But there are few little things that make me unhappy. Tonight i am prolly going back to MightyROM. The battery life is a HUGE improvement.

Why wouldn't you post this in the actual Mighty ROM thread?
