TP Wont Activate On Verizon

I Followed The Directions I Found On The Website And Activated My Sprint TP On Verizon, Later I Lost The Phone, Activated A Regular Flip Phone And When I Found My TP They Said That Because Of Some "Billing System Upgrades" It Would Not Let Them Add My MEID To Their System Nor Would I Be Able To Have My Phone On Their System. Every Time I Dial *228 And Press 3 To Activate It Says That The System Cannot Activate My Phone And Attempts To Transfer Me To Verizon Customer Service. I Call Bull**** On Any Of This. Anyone Got Any Ideas On How To Fix This? If You Can Get This Fixed I Dont Mind Donating To Ya. Thanks In Advance!

Hey arc, sorry but it seems recently people are having a hard time trying to activate TP's from other carriers on Verizon. It seems that whatever loophole there was has been plugged.

Some people are calling directly or going to a store to try to get their ESN added to Verizon's database. The jury is still out.

Yea I Tried The Adding The ESN Thing And then On The 10th Day When I Called Them They Stated That It Could Not Be done...

Man I was urged SO many times by people here to get a Sprint TP and use on Verizon....... so glad I didnt.

I used to tell people to get a sprint touch pro and follow the directions to get it on Verizon. I switched back to my titan for a day and when I tried to switch back I also got the failure of *228 op3 and talked to customer service. I told them my bill was not that much less than the ETF so get my ESN added or I will be switching carriers. I give them a week, then you will see me posting from the Fuze side of the forum.

It is BS.

Basically Verizon caught onto what everyone was doing....

Can't say this will work and you might lose your sprint phone by trying it so keep that in mind....

Try flashing a stock Verizon rom and relock...
Take it to a Verizon store and tell them your phone stopped making calls...
They might find a way to activate it right there but there is also a very distinct possibility that they will give you a new VERIZONIZED version of the TP...

this will work as long as they don't notice the sprint logo in the top right hand corner!

I dont think theres any Verizon store that is going mistake a SPRINT Touch Pro for the Verizon Version............... not gonna happen.
