Mighty Mike and lil rico Please never stop.... please please please

Mighty Mike has indicated version 4.15 will be his "Final Release"
This makes me sadder than oprah winfrey was the day they stopped making hostess snowballs
For the last 3ish Months I have looke forward to each and every mightyrom release just knowing that with each flash my phone got a little more stable and alot cooler

Having said this THis thread is meant as an oppurtunity for each person to thank mighty mike and lil rico and to beg them to continue working on this project

as we all have seen new things come out everyday for these phones and noone makes it come together like mike and rico

So lets me kick this off by restatuing what i said in my 10 billon page pm to you mike.....Thank you guys so much and please please keep it going

ANd to the community can we get these guys some donations or something?

You know, if that's his decision, I can't say I blame him. Unfortunately there's quite a few folks who post in his threads about "I can't", "It's broken", "blah blah".

Most seem like "newbies" who don't have the background knowledge to troubleshoot and fix themselves. I see some of the most stupid questions asked that could have been self resolved just by searching and applying just 1/10000th of a persons brain.

I feel bad for Mike and Rico. I would have put in a disclaimer. This rom is for advanced users. If you install and break something, this probably isn't YOU and you should go back to stock rom. And leave the thread for honest, reproducible bugs.

Did you ever consider the amount of whining, *****ing and complaints are probably driving poor Mike and Rico insane?????

If you read Mighty Mikes post he means its a final release for THIS ROM, he basically means he'll be moving on to the new manilla and possibly 6.5? But i believe what he means is its a final release for this build, not a final release and hes hanging up the rom building. Im sure he wouldnt stop and if he did it would surely be a sad day at ppcgeeks.com thats for sure.

+1 this is how i interpreted it also seeinf as how so much new stuff is coming to the table and its only natural for these Cooks to progress into the biggest newest things being developed.

i also voted for the bottom one cuz i do infact eat glue, just something about that elmers that gets me all worked up.

I think that with 4.14 its very stable and but 4.15 will be an improvement and I don't know how much better it can get. I am ready for someone to really dig into the 6.5 stuff so we can move on to it with a stable build.

Mike is good at this and knows what he is doing, so let's get on with it!

I love my Mighty Roms but I want some 6.5 love and those that are dibbling and dabbling in it don't quite have it down yet. Might can surely start with (I'm sure he's already on it) what is there and really make a ported TP2 rom shine.

wm6.5 roms are unable to be that good. simple as that. he cant do much about that.

I got the same impression that others here did that the FINAL was merely directed at the V4 series rom and not the rom building as a whole...

He even posted a graphic for V5 he had laying around as a joke when he released 4.13...LOL

I can't really see how Mike and Rico could possibly make MightyRom V4 any better as it's probably the most stable rom I have ever flashed on a phone and I have been flashing roms since the days of my Motorola 710!

I think they have gone as far as they could possibly go with the 207XX sys and keep it solid as a rock.

And since the core goal for their roms has always been about stability I think it might take them sometime to play with all the newer sys' until they find one stable enough to earn a place in their future work.

And if they find one (think 21XXX+) that they can massage to meet their stability standards I expect we will see a V5 of MightyRom at some point...
Cooking Roms is 10 times more addicting than flashing roms! LOL

If they ever do decide to stop development I do hope someone will use the last build as a base for a Kitchen we can all custom cook with.
