Questions regarding Kitchens & OEMS...

I'm looking to create my own custom CDMA ROM, and was thinking about using Bored's kitchen. My questions are 1) Would this be the best kitchen to start out with? and 2) Is there a site/thread with a list of OEM apps, or is it best to get/borrow these from other kitchens? And if that is the case, which kitchens are best to look through? I have already looked at PPCKitchen, and have Bored's and JD's kitchens already. Anyone have some recommendations?

Many thanks in advance!

Mojo

I've always had success with jd's roms. I've never used his kitchen but I'm sure it's an excellent kitchen to work with.

Re: Questions regarding Kitchens & OEMS...

I use calcu's kitchen. My device outgrew mine and his was the first I tried, liked it so I kept it.

As far as OEM's, I downloaded calcu's full kitchen the other night, and he has quite a collection in there. I usually make my own, but downloading a kitchen and borrowing from the OEM directory will give you a healthy choice of ingredients. And I also try to keep up with my Custom VGA OEM Request thread in my signature, and the other thread is a good resource as well. I would say that most people that cook on here have quite an OEM selection gathered from here and there. Just start collecting!

*Thanked* And good advice. I already have a 30g partition set aside purely for phone-related materials, so now it should get some use!
