This is how I proceed to install the unlocker. The strange thing is am I running the right RUU. I extracted it to a new folder and only one icon is in the folder. When I click that icon to run and the pop up window begins instructing me I notice that in the folder another RUU is present with other icons. (ROMUpdateUtility)

I run the Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037 and follow the steps on my laptop. I have flashed several roms do I know this procedure well. I get the tricolor screen then do the check boxes and then press next several times. The grey downloading box never shows up just an error after about 30 - 45 seconds.
I then go to the recovery and it works every time. Then I sit frustrated for a few minutes wondering how a noob can unlock his new phone so he can play with it. LOL

OK now using the sd card I have tricolor with the following

RAPH800 MFG
SPL-0.25.C-SSPL
MICROP-RAPH (LED) v8C85
MicroP-Raph (KEY) v8685 (I think hard to see in green)
PSOC-Raph STAGE_EVT v20

Still tricolor after a few minutes now resetting, Reset successful.
Be gentle and understanding to this noob please.
Thanks

Re: unlock, flash and even relock your TP via the SD card!

did you put the nbh from the unlocker.zip (extracted) on the sd card and the sspl on your phones main memory?

If so , backup your sd card, and format it with your computer to fat32 (even if it says it is)

Re: unlock, flash and even relock your TP via the SD card!

ok.. so i have been flashing from my SD for a couple weeks now.. done it multiple times.

now when i hold down power+vol down it just enters boot loader and stays there. i have reformatted my card via card reader and from nueStorage, I have tried different custom roms... my nbh is in the root of the storage card and named RAPHIMG.nbh

I don't get it.. i give up. gonna have to go back to the pc method i guess.

once again, after the soft reset with vol down+power being held down, it just enters boot loader screen and does nothing else, no gray screen flash, no error message.. nothing.

i think this started happening after i flashed one of the 6.1 roms or nrg roms. not sure.

thanks for your help and time for doing this though.

Re: unlock, flash and even relock your TP via the SD card!

one thing to check in this case is some roms show extensions in file explorer while some don't try renaming that RAPHIMG.nbh to RAPHIMG or check using a card reader from a pc. its quite common that these files get named RAPHIMG.nbh.nbh
