the phone always says security unlocked. if you still see thr rgb screen try softreseting

my computer fried 2 nights ago so I updated the guide with relocking info, but its really short right now since im doing this from my TP.

I basically have the same problem. Does the soft reset complete the unlocking and now I'm ready for flashing?

nope you are just in the sspl. softreset to get back into your phone, and make sure you unzipped the unlocker and placed that file on the root of your sd card.

yep, locker is unzipped and and placed in root. still getting same result.
think i would have a setting that is stopping it from completing? |

my guess is your sd card is not formatted fat32 if all the above is correct (you didn't make a folder and call it root right?)

just checked and it is fat 32. did not make a folder called root. pretty mind boggled here. i might consider a hard reset and try again but tomorrow i'll have access to a windows xp machine so i might be able to try another method. i'll update on what i do.

try making sure your phone is in active sync mode rather than storage mode.
