I think it began, but did anything come of it? I think a new device was released before anything concrete came out under the banner of collaboration, and it was forgotten about. And this sort of collaboration will only bear more resentment... I don't understand why there can't be Coke and Pepsi, living together in harmony.

If you really want to dominate, then your thread title is appropriate. But if that really isn't your intention, then perhaps the title is giving you some undesired attention... as in having to "put out fires".

I actually thought you wanted your ROM to rule over all.

Juggs my friend I am sad to see you go you have given a lot to this community and hope you will reconsider leaving? I just recently started flashing this week (yeah I know I'm late on the flashing) and I just flashed yours and like it. I have tried yours and MightyMikes and I like both for what they have and do. As you said the bottom line is it delivers what is said and is stable. I judge a ROM by how it feels for me and works for me and not popularity. Anyways friend maybe a break might be good. I too know how it feels to do a lot of work for free and put your heart and soul into something to have people question you or pick at your work. Thanks for what you have done and hope to see you back doing what you do.

I don't think MightyMike should be bashed though nothing wrong with giving your title a strong title or wanting it to stand out. Each ROM makers hopes they make the best ROM its only the nature of the beast, we all strive to be number one and nothing wrong with that IMO.

I think it would be awsome to have juggs, juicy, mike and jd come together and produce a ROM of all ROMS.

Aw! I just installed Y4J8 and it is definitely my favorite ROM so far. In the spirit of it's creator, it is the BEST ROM FOR MY APPLICATIONS.

Keep up the good word, in whatever form that may be!

As far as I can tell all the chefs here make's superb roms, so superb that since i've gotten my tp in Dec, i've not run a rom for longer than 4hrs , yes call me a junkie, bottomline, even Shaq came clean & said he luvs Koby, and the rival was all media hype, in other words, i'm sure most cooks here are not petty and shldnt allow small things like titles get in the way of the competition, yes i said comp. I'm sure u all see across the st from Lowe's there's a Home depot? A Walmart, there's a Target etc. We all like choices and variety, so why not? So i say to all chefs, gird up your Lyons, strap up your boots and do the damn thing! Pick me up, lick me down, me bounce right back is the motto, (sorry guys that's a Jamaican thing) I understand the distaste with members bashing roms, asking for special apps, critisizing, etc, and can't even build didly squat. But i'm most certain the thankful, and considereth members outweighs the ungrateful few, my 3 cents!!!

I know exactly what promised rom you are talking about and you can count me in on that one. I'd rather work together than alone anyway.
