That Particular flash that baffles many!

Is it possible to Security Unlock a phone from an SD card? This has lead so many into a flashing pitfall! Thanks.

no2chem at one time was going to release a utility to do it, but he hasn't gotten around to it. He had one that worked on the Titan.

Re: That Particular flash that baffles many!

Thanks for the reply. Nonetheless I can't escape the jaws of downloading the .net framework which takes ages to get downloaded and installed on the home computer. This is literally the very first shortfall that I have ever experienced with the xda, or ppc geek, or the ppc forums generally, that there literally is no other way around.

Re: That Particular flash that baffles many!

The .net framework is needed by a LOT of programs/applications for your PC. Not just for PPCGEEKS, XDA or anything else.

Also, why does it take you so long to install it? It usually only takes me like 10 mins or so to install it and update via windows update...

just download the sspl, put it someware on main memory, then extract the spl and flash it like normal except you click the sspl to go into bootloader.

Good to know, thanks! I've never had issues flashing from my PC, but I do prefer the SD method.

Re: That Particular flash that baffles many!

download http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/attachment...1&d=1225521707

unzip that and leave that exe on your phone in main memory

then download http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/attachment...2&d=1225515125

use winrar to unzip it then after you unzip it, use winrar again to open the exe and take the RUU_SIGNED.nbh out and rename it to RAPHIMG.nbh then transfer it to your sd card (not in any folders just on the root of the sd card.)

click on the exe you put on your phone to open up the sspl then it should unlock.
