go into the main kitchen folder.... completely delete the "tools" folder.... then extract this one into the kitchen folder
TOOLS FOLDER DOWNLOAD
give it 5 or 6 minutes to complete uploading please

click start kitchen and see what you get

ok..... i'm in the middle of the new kitchen.... let me get a rom from it flashed and see if it has the same results as you are having... if so i have a good idea where to look... i'll get back to you shortly

Yeehaw, its suddenly working. I can boot into the latest Kitchen. Its fantastic as usual. Thanks for all the help Bored. My only thought its that it must be my phone that is the problem not the kitchen itself.

I cant wait for the next build though, im sure it will be fantastic. Thanks again.

could you do me a small favor when you get a chance..... flash the ROM i posted on the first page to see if office shows up for you in it... i cant for the life of me figure out why it isnt showing up for you.... the xml has no bearing really all it does is give you the option to NOT include it... if you were to cook without the xml ... office would be included because there is no xml giving the option to not include it

the office seems to be Entirely missing in the SYS folder.

Having the choice in the options XML won't add the missing files, it'll only give you the choice of selecting it.

I tried that first yesterday. I installed that and really like the speed and just poked around a little bit - then went "rut-row" no Office. Thought to myself, I'm guessing Bored doesn't like it and/or use it so doesn't include it.

That's when I turned my attention to the kitchen. Didn't see it as an option - so I just created a ROM and flashed,... not there. So I've been following the thread pretty regular like,... and knew about the XML - that's when I put it in place and saw that I could select it. Did that, cooked it up and flashed - still not there.

Thanks for all you do - by the way!! I'm currently running Caulkin's ROM - but I like yours better. It's far more battery and memory effecient than what I can do on my own. I'm hoping you got my donation a week ago - i didn't hear back - but Paypal took the money

Bore did you find out about the alarm glitch the rom has.
im comfuse on the kitchen. ok um the kitchen is a programe to make a rom right. u run the kichen and make a custome rom on stuff that u have put on right?
this kicthen is a 6.5 rom maker right? lol ya sorry im like a newbi to make roms.
