I hate to de-rail this thread or be a heretic or anything, but can anyone tell me if this ROM is faster than Silence ROM 7? I have been using that for a while and it's fast as hell, but bored 21109 is also reported to be super fast. I'm not interested in running a TP2 ROM, I played around with manila V1C for a while and since 'All Settings' is flaky it's pretty much unusable for me.

BUDDY , we are all family here , ask away!!! I have not had the pleasure of using SR7 myself because of my Verizon TP , but I am using SR8.5 now and its fast . I think it probably the first ROM I have used that can possibly compete with lllboredlll for speed. SO that means I would have to beleive that if your looking for SPEED lllboredlll's speed rom is going to beat out SR7. Nothing wrong with a little healthy competition and I know lllboredlll and Silence RESPECT eachother.:mrgreen:

I love Silence AND I love lllboredlll no doubt , they both have amazing kick@$$ roms , besides what have you got to lose , you'll never know until you try it out for yourself ;)

Cool :) I've seen them post in each other's threads, I was just wondering if someone who had used both could testify on either's behalf. SR3 was awesome but SR6 was really buggy for me. SR7 is FAST FAST FAST (without TF3D2 :)) Totally breathed new life into this device. I p***** on SR8.5 because I like the Rhodium enhancements.

So which bored rom are you talking about? Again I don't want TP2 (yet). I made pimped out sdconfig.txt and provisioning.xml files so flashing isn't a big deal but I'd like to find a rom to stick with. Then again since playing with TF3D2 and getting UC working flashing has become a nightly thing... Addiction is setting in! ;)

Hey bored... nice work... Probably one of the best Rom's I have used so far...

One question: VZW Navigator is giving me a error
"There was a problem initializing the GPS. Please exit and restart VZ Navigator".

Is this expected? Any work arounds?

My GPS itself is working fine... getting GPS locks in like 2 secs with HTC GPS TOOL.

Help?

I have every posted lllboredlll kitchen in a folder on my desktop as well as a few lllboredlll TP2 roms and lllboredlll Speed Roms. If you want a kitchen try the 21032 kitchen , or for flat out speed with no TF3D try lllboredlll's Hooker Rom. Personally I like TF3D too much to part with it. And TF2 , blah I have yet to find one stable enough to use on a daily basis so I will stick with TF3D for the time being.

No I love TF3D, it's just TF2 that's not ready for primetime. I'm not too interested in a kitchen or making my own rom (yet :)) I just want something really fast and stable. SR7 seems to be that for now but I want to give bored a shot too. So 21032 is the one to try? I don't understand people who want "loaded" roms. Why not go for speed and then install for yourself the apps you want? That way the roms are the most usable by everyone.
