Which rom should I get?

I need a clean rom which has all the applications and is as fast as possible! What would you recommend? I really don't have time to test all of them out as that would take hours. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

you can also use scott's kitchen and cook your own rom--it can be as clean as you want it. i myself find some of the OEM apps very useful so my definition of clean is not strict.

Re: Which rom should I get?

to comment most of the ROMS are clean per say to the builder, the best bet is if you have the time construct one from one of the kitchens mention because there might be some apps that you want that the builders don't and vice verse. hope this helps.
if not you might have to test some of them the reason why is because there might be an issue with a part that you may need that no one else use. Just like a vehicle you will get one and tweak it to ur liking

What version of the Touch Pro do you have?

If you have the VZW Touch Pro, I would go with Scott's R4R ROM as it was developed with the lack of memory the VZW version has. The thread for this ROM is here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=56777

If you have any of the other CDMA variant, Might Mikes is a great ROM but can be a bit of a memory hog on the Verizon Touch Pro. It also appears the the Mighty ROM is now offered in a lite and standard edition. The thread for this ROM is here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=52695

I hope this helps

Re: Which rom should I get?

Yea, you're going to get a ton of responses here with plenty of opinion with an open-ended question like that.

If you have the Sprint TouchPro, I would seriously recommend Ivan's 1.8 Black. It is faster than anything else I have used, and has some nice interface upgrades that dont waste space. I would also recommend using TF3D config to remove excess pages (I dont personally use the calendar or settings tab).

Good link reviewing all the ROMs here:
