Problems with my custom rom - Stuck at boot splash

So i've had my Touch Pro for a while now and finally got around to unlocking it and trying my luck with some ROM cooking. (thanks to the people who replied on irc!). I successfully built a rom for mu TP, using Herman and os build 20931 using BuildOS however whenever i reset the phone it gets stuck on the boot splash screen and the only way to get the phone to boot again is a hard reset. I've yet to try someone elses ROM, (erice's gave me a virus warning when i unzipped it)

Am i doing something wrong? or did i screw this up and need to flash stock relock and return?

Anyhelp i can get will be much appricated, and thanks in advanced to anyone who replies.
