Is there a way to disable or uninstall the finger menu? It is kinda cool, but I think I would rather do without it. I know you can shut it down pretty fast, but is there a way to make it stop loading on start up? I went to configure it but it seems to load when the phone restarts.

No no not that. Ill give an example. When you're in the screen where you view texts from people and a preview of the message, you can select menu, new, sms (or picture message or video message). Usually with the old style menu, I can push the letter "S" to select sms, however with the new style pop up menu, Even tho S in sms is underlined, pressing S to select SMS doesn't work, instead I have to scroll down to sms to select it. Im not home right now but When I get home i can place a screenshot of what im talking about if you're not still sure.

go into the windows folder, and then click on start up folder, and delete quick menu in there

try disabling quick menu, its located in start menu programs then quick menu folder, and click on disable icon

Must say, very cool rom!!! Nice work. Couple of issues..

Exhchange email is not working, AS just sits there trying to connect.
My battery life seems to be worse then stock. I thought it would be better.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

All in all, awesome ROM... Can't wait for 3.9

Try going to Start -> Settings -> Connections -> USB to PC and unchecking "Enable faster data synchronization"

See if you are able to sync using AS after that.

I did a search and didn't find anything on point.


I love this rom ... quick ... all the features I like ... I'd just like to know if there's anyway to add two things from maybe cabs

1) The All US Cities Data base ... I live in a small town and travell to mostly small towns

2) Some kind of personalazation cab like you can add via the ppc geeks kitchen ... you know .. most of the settings, personal info ... extra files .. like that

Any help would be greatly appreciated
