How to upgrade with Sprite Backup after ROM change

That is basically my question. Right now contacts restore, but name does not come up when people call unless I make them a favorite. I would try search but I spent 10 minutes and could never answer those dam 6 letters/numbers correctly. Sad I know.

Okay, I figured a little more. The caller id has a 1 in front of the number. In my contacts I don't have a 1 in front of every #. Does everybody have a 1 in front of each number? I tried to go to phone settings and disable plus autodialling and prepend... but it doesn't work for all the numbers. Please, help this is driving me crazy.
