Order to install theme

I'm starting from a stock sprint rom and for themeing I'm wondering what order should I go in to install everything properly.

I need to install
Dirty paper theme.cab
sprintFlickclock
mUn Background all tabs.cab
font (cab)
misfortune taskbar.

What order should I go in to get the best out put. I've had some trouble with certain things overriding others and had to do a hard reset to go back to default...

If someone can help with ordering that would be greatly appreciated. Also do I need the sprint flip clock cab if I'm going to install the dirty paper theme?

Actually the way you have them listed here should work. I'm not familiar with the dirty paper them but I uses a number of different themes. What I've found is that you have to install the theme first. If you want a different clock, install your clock. After you have your theme and clock, then you can install your background for all pages. Background for all pages doesn't work right unless a clock is present first. For me, I do it all in sdconfig.txt so that when I flash, (I'm quite the chronic flasher) my look and feel is the way that I want it. Many cooks choose black manila so flashing with your theme etc built into sdconfig.txt simplifies things greatly.

Re: Order to install theme

I'll have to look into the sdconfig...thanks a ton, knowing that this was close to the proper way helped me get it installed properly.

it's looking good, I decided against the suggested font it came with and went back to stock font. the more i get into the changing of things on this phone the more I want to try. Love this forum.

I have some large fonts that I install with my SDConfig.txt everytime I flash..

I can't remember where I got them originally but I think they were from a cab called Nokia Fonts....It looks really nice and bold...makes thing just look better.

You might also wan to take a look at the HTC Touch Pro section and look Godzson fonts...he has some really cool looking fonts too. I plan to try some of his eventually.

If you need any help with the SDConfig.txt let me know. Another thing that you should probably look into is Sashimi because it is not UC dependent.

Re: Order to install theme

I have started looking into Sashimi. I uninstalled the dirty paper theme to try and get other themes on here but now I have remnants of things in my "remove programs tab"

It seems that if i install or uninstall things out of order I can't certain things out of my remove programs list...weird stuff, but the learning is awesome.
