Well considering the fact that there is no communication between the load screen and the actual load its not going to be in real time progress. All the animated giff crap does is SIMULATE a load progress. You can make a 20 min animated gif file and the phone wont boot until its done playing that gif file. You can also set the gif on a loop and the phone never boots.

as it sits i have it set for 21 frames...i can set it to loop any number of times but that just wastes time booting up.
