I have try almost every rom on here and other places. All of them works with my work place exchange activesync. I can't live without it. I use it for email for work and the best part is the contacts. Being on CDMA sprint, I can sync everything to my work exchange server and I always have my contacts. AWESOME!!! |

Re: Every custom rom == no exchange activesync
I have not had any trouble getting my Mogul or TP to sync with our exchange. I do have to first sync at work. If i do a soft reset, it won't sync again until I sync from work again.

Re: Every custom rom == no exchange activesync
I sycronize our Touch Pros with our SBS 2003 R2 server and it works fine with any schedule except for "as items arrive". If I choose "as items arrive" either for on peak or off peak schedules it asks me for a device ID? Does anyone know what that is or where I can get it from. We use Verizon as our carrier.

Re: Every custom rom == no exchange activesync
Mine works fine off of Sprint's Exchange server. I use mine with every custom rom on both my Diamond and my Pro.

I'll tell you, having the EAS makes life so much easier when doing ROM flashes, the only thing I have to do is reload apps. |

Re: Every custom rom == no exchange activesync
Yes, that is definitely true... I use mail2web because while I don't like that I can't change my reply-to address, I love the fact that I don't have to worry about my contacts/calendar anymore. They are always synced and with the addition of an xml that adds all the settings through UC after every hard reset and/or flash, my phone is ready to go no matter what.
