I have great battery life on the B2B ROM using the percent over Icon.

Most battery will depend on settings. Like you saidm try to scale back on certain things...

Also, these batteries are VERY shady.. i Hav eon that will barely last a day andI have another that I can easily get two days out of.

Batrtery is the real discerning factor. Some are just better than others.

If this is the case, try flashing one of the other radios. they have Sprint and Telus ones.. which i heard good things about... i have Vzw, and i use Vzw radio since.. i have the strongest signal with them around my area...

the thread is in here somewhere, search "6 Radios Jan" i think it should pop up. anywho good luck
For me....

The best radio is theVZW radio for picking up GPS.

Now voice and data, the sprint one works well, as well as telus. But GPS, VZW has it....

The other radios, once again, for me, didint last as long as the VZW one.

IM telling these batteries are VASTLY differnt. Trust me. I have three of them and they all last differnt lenghts of time from 8 hours to 48 hours.

I agree with you Scott. I tried the Verizon radio and the GPS does lock a lot quicker..BUT I had to go back to the Sprint radio due to the voice and data..I can deal with the locks taking a little locker on the GPS.

Re: SSK ROM users - what type of battery life are you getting?

I've gone a full day of standby and been at 89%...so I would imagine I could squeeze 3 days. This is in a pretty good signal area doing nothing.

I have to hurt on it (Internet, GPS, etc) for a couple hours before I might be in trouble lasting the day.

I leave Bluetooth on all the time.

I would ask this again in the main SSK thread, Bob will give you lots of nice battery charts

Re: SSK ROM users - what type of battery life are you getting?

My daily battery longevity has taken a small hit since flashing SSK 1.5 but this is the price you pay. Plus now that I running Tom Tom 7 on it thanks to the nearly flawless GPS, I barely stand a chance on some days at having my battery last.

Just so you can compare, today I have used my phone unplugged for 12 hours now. In that 12 hours I have had 11 calls totaling probably 40 minutes of talk time. I also have SEVEN installed so my 2 e-mail accounts are pushed to my phone (GMail and my work email). I have been on EVDO with a variety of signal strengths and have used the internet for probably 20 minutes and sent about 15 SMS'. I used Tom Tom for about 10 minutes driving from place to place and I listened to one song (about 4 minutes long). I almost forgot I took 4 photos.

Right now my battery reads 33%. Not too bad (but I had the Motorola Q way back when, haha)

I typically have WiFi and BT off and I keep almost no tasks running. Hope this helps you guys compare.
