Re: GPS Died?
It can be relocked and you just have to apply the fix again. I actually had to install the whole process from restoring the original and running ppst and rebooting to then installing bored's fix and running ppst. Essentially all the steps in the gps unlock thread starting at step 1. I don't remember what I did that necessitated this, but I thought I had broken it permanently until I tried this.

Re: GPS Died?
Glad you got it working. Mine thought I was flying across the Nevada desert at 212 mph for some reason and said it locked on 4 satellites. It was really strange. I am just glad it wasn't hosed and just needed a redo of the fix.

Re: GPS Died?
yep, vzw. Reapplying the fix did the trick. Could I still have the wrong drivers even if it is working correctly?

What ROM are you running on your VZW Pro? That normall means you are trying to use GPS Intermediate drivers and not COM4. Usually. If you have one of my later ROM's just use GPS as is. It uses default intermediate drivers. |

Re: GPS Died?
Hey Scott, glad you joined this conversation. I'm using your kitchen. I've used your ROMs in the past and had great success with the GPS. But for some reason, this time using your kitchen, it botched it. Did I miss a setting maybe?

Re: GPS Died?
Hey Scott, i was using your rev B kitchen with 20764. The gps was working fine in google and tomotom. Google was using intermediate drivers and tomtom auto configures. Then all of a sudden I opened up google and was flying through nevada. lol. I hard reset (not clear storage) and had the same problem. I then reinstalled bored's fix and everything was fine again. The only thing I had done was not use hte gps for about 3 days before that happened, but I did update quick gps which didn't fix it either.
