is it bad for the phone to repeatedly flash it?

Just curious either rom or radio? i flashed it like 9 times today.

the only way you will hurt your phone flashing roms is by flashing a rom that is not made right so wait for some feedback on a rom before flashing and you should be good

technically... flash memory wears down after every rewrite. There's a limit to how many rewrites, all depending on the quality of hardware HTC used.

ok well how many flashes do you think it would take before it affects the phone. im sure some of the chefs here flash there phones many times a day and i havent heard of one dying from flashing to much

it's said about 1,000,000 times.... but i know some doesn't last that long. I have had 2 memory cards finally break down due to my rewriting 2GB movies on them over and over again...

Flash is rated at 100,000.

I thought it was 10,000 Either way, you have very little chance of damage even if you flash 10X a day for months.
