Re: is it bad for the phone to repeatedly flash it?
technically... flash memory wears down after every rewrite. There's a limit to how many rewrites, all depending on the quality of hardware HTC used.

Re: is it bad for the phone to repeatedly flash it?
it's said about 1,000,000 times.... but i know some doesn't last that long. I have had 2 memory cards finally break down due to my rewriting 2GB movies on them over and over again...

Flash is rated at 100,000.
Flash should last well beyond the expected lifespan of these devices, even if you are a flashaholic.

I thought it was 10,000 Either way, you have very little chance of damage even if you flash 10X a day for months.
