I actually prefer the 6.5 Menus over the new HTC Menus so I made a cab to disable them.

Install the cab and soft reset to use the 6.5 Menus.

Thank-you for the quick response. I guess it's been a while. When I get my new phone on monday, I know I have to unlock it. After it's unlocked, when I flash the new rom, is there anything else I need to know - again I really appreciate your help!!

I haven't seen the 6.5 menus, can you post some pics?

Can someone confirm this for me? I have battery issues with my 6.1 ROM and haven't heard anyone else say 6.5 gets better battery life. If it truly does then it must just be registry differences, as under the hood there couldn't possibly be that much different. 6.5 roms can be built with most of the same components from 6.1 roms...

Some thing about the os I like a lot, but that menu makes it nye unusable for me.

The ROM looked pretty solid, but wasn't fast for me - and yes, I hard reset after flashing.
I just flashed to this from MightyROM.
I had previously installed xbmod on MightyRom, and I gotta tell you, the touchflow seemed to be a bit faster on Mighty's build.
That being said, I guess I'm partial to 6.1, so take anything I've said with a grain of salt.

Really solid work Juicy, I like your ROMs, please don't take anything I've said as a "dis" - I respect your work.

I guess I just didn't realize before now how unusable I find WM6.5 (that's my fault of course, not yours).
Cheers.
If you're ever in Denver, you've got a beer coming.
Ugh, I hate the new 6.5 "start menu". It's impossible to quickly scan a list of icons that is not properly lined up, frankly I think the "honeycomb" pattern is plain visually distracting. From what I've read it sounds like you can use a "normal" start menu with 6.5 which is reassuring...

Well, you may want to wait after all if you like TouchFlo 3D. I've had it crash out on me without an error twice now. I just get the "Tap here to start Touch Flo 3D" thing on the screen, tapping it the system pauses a couple seconds, then the message reappears. The only way to get it running again is to soft reset. So it's still a little unstable on the Verizon model. If you don't like TF3D, then you should be fine from what I've seen.

yes....6.5 is much better than 6.1 with respect to battery life....and i think you are mistaken if you think that it is due to reg entries.....i have made all possible reg tweaks on 6.1 roms and my "stock" 6.5(copper) still beats it by a day+...
