Re: JUICY 7 - Build 090418H (21501.5.0.7) [UC] *Rhodium Manila*

After using this for about 30 min i have found Quick GPS is not working, Word Excel ... work, just not in the start menu. Phone locked up 3 times. When i was tying to install apps i was getting an error saying i did not have permission to install. Rom ran fast, just a few issue's that i am sure Juicy will work out. Great good, ROM looks great. Flashing back to Mighty 4.16 and can't stand waiting for Mighty Rom 5 anymore, going to get drunk now. Maybe it will be posted when i get back.

Keep up the good work and thank you.

I think the start menu in WM 6.5 is what kills the entire os for me.
Some thing about the os I like a lot, but that menu makes it nye unusable for me.

The ROM looked pretty solid, but wasn't fast for me - and yes, I hard reset after flashing.
I just flashed to this from MightyROM.
I had previously installed xbmod on MightyRom, and I gotta tell you, the touchflow seemed to be a bit faster on Mighty's build.
That being said, I guess I'm partial to 6.1, so take anything I've said with a grain of salt.

Really solid work Juicy, I like your ROMs, please don't take anything I've said as a "dis" - I respect your work.

I guess I just didn't realize before now how unusable I find WM6.5 (that's my fault of course, not yours).
Cheers.

Thanks. Ill stick to Mighty then. I've tried every rom, and last time I told myself no more 6.5 until it's stable. Mighty 4.16 is good for me.

Simply open the page_pool_changer in the root level of the folder, and point it to the .nbh file (it's the only one in the root folder of what you unzipped/rar'd).
Then see if it's at 6, or not.
Juicy recommends 16, so select the radiobutton next to 16, then click "Change to", and "close".
You should be all set.
No. I understood completely. For WINDOWS users, yes, Juicy supplied the tool for people to verify/fix/tweak it themselves inside the RAR archive (PagePool_Changer.exe). Mac users are SOL. Linux users may have luck with wine - I sure didn't feel lucky and didn't bother trying. Fortunately, I have a work laptop here with WinXp. I was able to use the utility to change the PP to the suggested value.

Apologies if I wasn't clear about the above. Win users usually don't give a toss about minority OSes.

Great work Juicy. Thanks for the hard work and contributions to PPCGeeks.

On a side note, anyone have screenshots of the new ROM?

Does this rom work on a Verizon Wireless XV6850 Touch Pro? I used to flash my XV6800 Titan all the time, but am about to get a new VZW TP and I am trying to figure out what I can use and what is the best. I will have my phone Monday and want to have my files ready - TIA for any help!

I have it running on my Verizon 6850. You definitely want to keep the 6 meg pagepool, and even then I'm almost always hovering around or over 90% memory used. Haven't run out of memory yet... but I haven't been using the ROM long, either. (Obviously.)

So I installed the custom taskbar that I usually use and now the big X and the big OK are gone. Can anyone help me get them back?

Thanks
