Juicy does make good roms but all Chefs have a buggy one every now and then.

Mine is flashed to Cricket with the GPS working, My issues is it works now with the old version, and if I hook up and run the rom utility what would I have to do after that? or if i did the update would it be good to go?

You may have to change some settings but like it has been posted, your radio, prl and all that will remain the same.

you mean like the epst, connection & MMS settings that is not a problem. I just didn't want to go threw of configuring prl and switching radios, and what not.

That is correct.
Unless you flash back to a stock rom the radio and prl won't change.
Custom roms do not change your carrier specific settings like radio and prl.
