I found the Arcsoft thread last night and I ran the remove cab and then reinstalled the above version again, but again no picturemail account on the "mail" tab...

Guess I need to send myself a picture mail and see if I still get the notification...

It doesn't give you the picturemail tab when using arcsoft. It will use the sms editor and you can either select to sent a SMS/MMS Picture or video message.

The notifications are just like threaded SMS text with the exception of the icon at the top shows a little yellow envelope.

I have used this since the first post and it is far superior to the Sprint Picture Mail downlaod.

This question is best answered by "What are you trying to install?"
In the case of the Arcsoft picture mail cab, it would be Sprint specific since it has the sprint picture mail server settings embeded, and you wouldn't want to install Telenav from Sprint on a Verizon or other service phone since they do not offer those services. So if it's a Carrier specific program or requires carrier specific settings you wouldn't want that on a phone that is on a different carrier.

Things like the Radio you can change to other Carriers as long as you stick with CDMA or GSM to your respective phone. So I have a Sprint CDMA phone I could use the Telus Radio if I chose to really depends on your coverage area for which radio will respond the best.

can anyone tell me what is different about Juicys rom from everyone else when it comes to the phone's email client? On Juicys previous build I was manually sending and receiving emails from my gmail account in a split second. with other builds the email always says "logging in.... (wait long) receiving folders... (wait).... receiving headers (wait)... sending (wait long)..... With Juicys rom it was just "logging in (split second), looking for changes (split second new mail was in my inbox)....

Anyone has the registry editor for disabling the vibration on ezinput keyboard etc...?
And is anyone else experiencing alittle freezing during the time when your typing a text message..?

i ran that disable sip click sound & vibe .cab and it didnt do it...

Personally I haven't used those cabs, but did you try a soft reset after installing them?

i believe i did... i tried this .cab several time w/ soft reset... i just hard reset for sms minor issue...so i will re-install the disable SIP sound & vibe .cab tonite...i will post a confirmation of what results...

but have experienced freeze during typing a text message...it very minor but have seen this..?
