Should fix you up. I have never had to uninstall and reinstall Activesync and have experienced this issue. It must go away for some reason because mine is not "Un-checked" now.

Thanks man, but I've done all that and it still doesn't fix. It tells me I must install ActiveSync 4.5 or newer. I'm running Windows 7 RC. Maybe that's the problem.

Mine initially worked under xp with it checked, but not under vista. Then I got an update to the WMDC and I noticed it started working with it checked under vista too.

The funny thing was when I upgraded another computer to vista, I tried to get the update, but it wouldn't show up in the list. Then one day when I had my phone connected to that computer I noticed it found the update...

Subsequently I figured out the the phone has to actually be connected through activesync when it checks for updates for the WMDC update to actually show up. Now it doesn't matter if the box is checked for me or not.

At least that's the way it worked for me... so I guess what I'm getting to is try running windows update with the phone plugged in, maybe that will do it...

If you are running Windows 7 you have to install yourself Windows Media Center.

It's made for vista but run fine on 7. To me 7 is a MAJOR step in Windows as it fixes most Vista bugs, but is compatible with almost everything made for Vista.

Hello guys, great forum. Just installed Juicy's Rom, much better than sprint stock. I wanted to know if the alarm clock that comes installed in build 8 is available as a .cab file to install on another pro without Juicy's rom installed.

The alarm that i believe you to be talking about is actually the stock alarm that is in Windows Mobile 6.5 skinned by TouchFlo3D2.

Ok thanx. Is it possible to have the skinned TF3D2 clock from window mobile 6.5 run on the stock touch pro? Basically looking for a (g-alarm alternative) where you can change the time without a stylus and a snooze.

I have installed Advanced Config v3.3 just to set my data connection to disconnect after a minute or two. But for some strange reason my device stay connected to DATA 24/7 no matter what I do. The only thing that stops it is a phone call or text message. I have used Advanced Config v3.3 and set it to disconnect after a minute but, no success.

What other option do I have...?...TIA
