Is there any mod that anyone has seen that when a text message comes in, it will 'pop up' simular to the iphone (where you dont loose what you were doing) because the text message pops up on top of what your doing?

Go to settings-->Sounds and notifications-->Notifications
Select Event: Messaging: New Text Message
and put a checkmark in the "Display Message on Screen" box

Any tweaks availabe for speeding up the input for text messages. i feel like the screen doesn't keep up with my fingers and lags a bit. the speed is quick when typing in browsers or anywhere else. just seems to be in text messages where the speed is slow.

Same here. It seems like No2Chem is now the Ronin of ppcgeeks, hehe. But I've seem him around fromm time to time.
I actually started on the titan w/ ppckitchen. You must have some programming (which I don't) or msVS experience because the OEM puzzle-peices never went together smoothly for me.
That's why I call what you do magic :)

Anyone still having the ring issue? After every soft reset I'm able to set the ring tone, but then it just stops working, missed a ton of calls in the last few days. Tried to set it to vibrate, but that's hit or miss

I have been through the whole removal of the sync file, wmdm file AND the HTC AudioManager_ENG.vol file. I let the phone rebuild the AudioManager_ENG.vol file. The problem is that the creation of this file causes the manila music player to show incorrect album art. In short, I think that there is a problem in the creation of this database. Can anyone confirm problems with album art and duplicate song listings? Juicy, any ideas?

Anyone?

I added that to the wiki, there used to be a cab file with them already modified but its not listed in the files anymore. If anyone wants to whip one up ill link to it.

ok i have to post this cause i cant seem to find the issue. i'm using juicy 5 and i've tried all the fixes and it still doesnt work. basically when i try to set custom music for my ringtone it reverts back to the default. i've tried full mp3s and even ones that are trimmed by the mp3 trimmer. i've tried converting them into .wav files and it still doesnt work. it wont accept the option and not play. basically as soon as a press ok with my custom selection the processing wheel will come up for a second or 2 and the ringtone will default back to the stock one and if i try to change it again it does the same. i've tried setting it to other ringtones included in the rom and that works fine. it just pertains to custom mp3s. thanks for the info!
