Re: [ROM] [Apr 29] JUICY 7 - Build 090429H (21501.5.0.70) [UC] *Rhodium Manila*

Hey. anyone know what the default pagepool would be for this new build? I flashed without changing anything. Is there a way to check it or should I re-flash?

Thanks,

well a 0MB page pool would show about ~ 215.xxMB and the latest build is showing 203.24. I believe he left it at 16MB from the last build, although he took some RAM from whats assigned to the OS( 3.24MB)

Re: [ROM] [Apr 29] JUICY 7 - Build 090429H (21501.5.0.70) [UC] *Rhodium Manila*

How do I tell what PP is by these numbers? I'm using 63% ram and when I click on it it says:

Storage:
total 324.79
In Use 30.68
Free 294.10

Program:
total 203.24
in use 126.44
free 76.80

Does this look good? Push pages are on. I see now Juicy is on telus as well so I think it should be good. I've always ran mighty but I need TF3d2 so loaded up Juicy for 1st time.

Thx again if you can help

yes... world clock is back I'll report back when/if the time changes on me.

Man this version of Opera is a ram hog. If Juicy didn't warn otherwise, I would think there is a memory leak in it...

One way to check, which i just did was run the Pagepool Change inside the Juicy Rom folder(after u extract) run it and it states a default PagePool of 16 MB

To get some more info on RAM availability and usage, go to --> Start /Settings/System/Device Information /Hardware Tab

you'll see you have 288 Total available / 203.24 is avail. for programs and 84.76 is reserved for the Operating System, giving you a cool 88.74 to play with

Once again though it is set at a default of 16MB for 090429H

Thanks again. I'm gonna try flashing to 24 this time. I changed it in the utility. No sense in having to much extra ram. I don't multi task too much and Ive read its a bit speedier. The main thing I want is push pages and Slingbox
