is adjusting the PP worth trying?

You can try my ROM's. They are designed, tuned and tested ON an Verizon phone.

BUt that aside... If you are on VZW you shoudl run a PP no more than 12. Antying else is a waste. I think stock PP of 6 is more than enough if your ROM is tuned. I know this will spark the bioggest debate of all time but.... Its just my observations

used the phone all day doing different things and right now with CE OS 20764 - Built SSK 1.5M - R4R Bonus ROM
and tf3d enabled memory is at 72%

love the new SSK 1.5

Man, I remember these days. It brings back memories of my Mogul. I remember always checking the free memory, and having to close out apps because of it. I love not having to worry about it now with my Sprint Touch Pro!

Look for the pagepool.exe in the rom file and select the ruu.nbh and change to 6 and then save

I am a verizon user on MightyMike's ROM.. On a fresh boot I'm at 70% RAM utilization, with everything loaded (included TF3D) and MyMobiler. I did change the PP down to 12 before I flashed, this is very easy to do. Argument of why VZW halved the RAM aside, the truth is I can run pretty much whatever I want without hitting the "out of memory" error. As a habit I make sure to always close whatever I'm using when I'm done with it though, so maybe that's part of it. But I've been running with this new ROM for about a week and it works great! Fastest response I've ever seen out of a VZW Touch Pro. SSK's roms are really good to, Mike's just came with more of the customizations I would do myself.

Is there a rule that PP must be a multiple of 6, or is it just coincidence that everyone is throwing out numbers like 6, 12, 24, etc?
