I'm testing the alarm right now, can anyone confirm that the phone froze before or during the alarm event?

About half-way through the day, I got sneaky and started checking the forum. I noticed a mark on the LCD that could only be compared to a cigarette burn. I nearly puked, thinking I had damaged the LCD. I intended to hit Scott up, since I think it was him who dismantled the thing so I could find replacement parts instead of flashing it back to stock. This morning I saw that the mark is gone!!!

This leads the the actual question: Has anyone else experienced anything similar? It could be an issue with it being cold, but it was in my pant pocket, and my leg should have kept it warm enough.

Question:
were you wearing sunglasses? polarized sunglasses?

If so... put them back on and look again! ;-)

But yeah... actually, now that i think about it.... it was scott!!
tricksey little hobbites!

I had the same thing happen.

I stepped on my screen... made like a rainbow oil slick then the next day it was gone. These screens are very resiliant. Be happy about that!

I have had S2U2 funk with my alarms before.

Also, what are you using for an alarm app?

I'm testing with both s2u2 on and off, and I am not duplicating the problem. My alarm has went off at 5 minute increments in the last 20 minutes.

I dont know for sure that it is the g-alarm / S2U2 combo... i just know that i had the same thing happen to me using both of those apps. and my morning alarm was the only one that would not go off and lock up the phone.

The afternoon one i have set went off fine... but S2U2 was not engaged.

Take from that what you will... sorry it's not more concrete info.
