Probably a dumb question, but you did download and use the Sprint version of the B2b ROM, didn't you?

yes I did. The odd thing is I cant even get to the service mode ETPS or whatever it is called either. Its not taing any #'s in the dialer at all for service mode. like ##778# etc.

I just hard reset to see if that will help

ok i'll buy a sprint phone right now and i hope Scott is having fun. To be honest Reign i which i could help did you ever think abou maybe flashing the stock rom back and let customize run or something. Or and i mean Or maybe you can buy a verizon phone and then i can help either or someone gonna help someone. Hope for the best for you ok. With sprint phones i have learned hitting a few times with a hammer works just an option. Or again flash back to stock lock it up and take it to the nearest sprint stores and look confused like Huh What.

You might be having problems now, but there are a lot of very happy Sprint users. Don't get discouraged. You just picked a day when none of those guys have been showing up.

I hope that you don't get upset with the "teasing" that aldojr80 and myself have been giving you. It's not meant to be mean-spirited.

Glad to hear it's working again, but unless you just want to "play", I'd wait until you see a Sprint user online who can help you. I'd also suggest that you add "SPRINT" to your profile under Carrier. It makes it easier for someone to help because Sprint and Verizon users experience different issues.

If you were talking about the ROM, then NO, you were correct. Only one should be checked - Verizon or Sprint. In the post above, I was referring to the profile displayed when you post. Go to USERCP, select Edit Profile, and under the Carrier block, Add Sprint.

A 2nd thought. Instead of trying B2B again, you might try the "R4R"Bonus ROM. I think that there are fewer issues with that ROM.

Bob

Edit: See you Got B2B working. Congrats...Glad a "Sprint Dummy" was able to at least give you encouragement.

Hey, reigndropz, I am a little late but just so you know the epst codes won't work, neither will clicking directly on epst.exe. That is a known issue on Sprint phones and supposedly Scott fixed it now that he is using a Sprint Diamond. We just have to wait for the next release.

Would you please check it the SMSRetry thingy in programs works for you?

Also, please check if the shortcut for Clear Storage under setting is working or not. Don't try to make it happens, just please let me know if you can click on it and the screen to perform a clear storage shows up.

did you guys have problems with daylight saving time change today? i got this message that said the time would change but nothing happened. i then resetted the phone, and the time still wasn't right... i'm using build 21015 cooked with scott's kitchen rev c2 (sorry DA, i found out build 21018 wouldn't push my exchange server mails so i went back to build 21015). i then tried to change to a time zone that doesn't do daylight saving, e.g. china. the time difference (12 hrs now, 13 hrs before the daylight time change) is correct except the actual u.s. time is now still off by 1 hr. i'm also using the advanced config tool, which had the daylight savings time setting initially disabled??? i reenabled it and made sure the registry HKLM/Microsoft/Clock/AutoDST:dword=1.

any thoughts?

did you use advanced config to change the registry settings on daylight savings? i noticed that it was off by default so i enabled it (this was yesterday, so before the change)--i wonder if i should keep it disabled and maybe verizon would do the time sync automatically?

speaking of time sync: how does our TP sync time?

I didn't do anything. It changed all by itself. Time Sync on the TP is under Phone/setting/ TimeSync...with the box checked, it syncs to the mobile phone network...unchecked, it doesn't sync.

Good!!!

Hahaha, no, I'm not glad that it doesn't work for you... I'm just glad that finally someone with Sprint answered me and is having the same issues I am having. It means it is definitely carrier related with something on this specific kitchen.

Like I said Scott said that he figured out some carrier specific things so hopefully for the next release all of these things will be ironed out. :D

I'm not sure if this was sarcasm, or if you misunderstood what I was asking. I know how to change sounds, but when I get a second call while talking my phone makes this insane noise. Similiar to the noise electronic battleship makes when you sink a ship! I've looked everywhere, and have not found an answer. Is anyone having problems with G-Alarm working with this Rom? I'm not sure if S2U2 is causing some type of conflict.

When I used scrosler 3.0 G-alarm worked flawlessley. With this new rom, G-Alarm won't trigger most of the time, and if it doesn't it won't play the ringtone assigned to the alarm. If I set the alarm to vibrate. The alrm constantly vibrates without puasing and the phone locks up.

I wanted to see if you all had similar experiences. I may resinstall or go back to scrosler 3.0. Thx

S2U2 is definitely the culprit. I was using the same combo and and my alarms wouldn't fire so I tried Klaxon and the same thing happened. Someone pointed out earlier on what to do to fix it but I don't remember exactly what it was.

I have since stopped using S2U2 and use galarm with absolutley no problem on a cooked ROM using Rev c2 kitchen and 21019 sys.

Hey, I just wanted to report that I also had issues with the Daylight Savings time yesterday. I cooked up a 931 build using the C2 kitchen, and I had to manually change the clock an hour. I tried changing the timezone, soft reset, and a manual Activesync to Exchange with no luck.

I can't think of any software installed that would be messing with the clock. I don't use any alarm apps or anything like that. S2U2, WeatherPanel, Homescreen Plus, Ultimate Launch, iContacts BE, FingerMenu...all CAB'd in, not OEM.

+Built With Rev C2 Kitchen

Congrats Scott - Very smooth Rom - I did mine with 6mb page pool. Really dig the black S2A. Definitely the "best" ROM so far. (BTW tried 6.5 & it was actually pretty good! just didn't care for Titanium Home screen).

***Can anyone help me on this***
I am looking for an auto lock program that was in NexVisions 1st Verizon TP Rom.

It used built in lock (no password) . When turning power on, screen would be dimmed. You could then tap unlock & go. FYI - I tried auto lock setting in Dmd Tweak - no workie.

I just want a simple lock (with out password) that automatically locks when turned on. S2U is great but appaently eats battery, my experience anyway.

I've searched for this lock to no avail.

Anybody have a clue???

DST issues here, too. I got the message that time would change, and it didn't until I did it manually.

Quick question...in the stock VZW rom, and in all of Scott's roms I used since, picking email addresses/phone numbers when drafting an email or an SMS or an MMS was a piece of cake..I started typing the name, and their info autofilled in a box on the bottom for me to select.

I cooked and installed my first ROM last week with C2 and 21015, and that feature seems to be gone. What was driving that?

followup: I suspect it is a keyboard thing; as I don't have the HTC keyboard anymore (and don't remember if I selected it). If I get a chance to re-cook and re-flash today I'll see if that is the case.

After reading your more complete description, I couldn't find the choice for "call waiting" in Settings. It would either be the same ring as the normal ring, or it's not specifically listed. However, I can't think of anything in the software that would cause your problem....What radio are you using? Have you tried changing the radio? If that doesn't work, I'd suggest taking it back to Verizon. It sounds like you have a "noisy" phone.
