DA

Roger that, thanks!

That shortcut definitely broke somehow. Probably same thing with TaskManager, but I installed the 21015 that someone posted in another thread to replace. It did overwrite a file there, so I'm assuming if I just fixed the shortcut it would be fine.

Here's what I did to fix the Power Point shortcut:
1) Use Total Commander and goto ..\windows\start menu\programs\office mobile\
2) Select PowerPoint Mobile.lnk file and click File -> Properties
3) Unselect ReadOnly by clicking the checkbox 2 times (2nd clears the grayed out checkbox) and click OK.
4) Close file and go back into properties.
5) Goto shortcut TAB and change Target: to PPT.EXE and click OK.
6) Goto Properties again and uncheck Archive, and then recheck ReadOnly and System, and then click OK.

You should now have a working PowerPoint icon. I'm assuming you can do the same thing to fix the TaskManager icon, rather then install the 21015 EXE like I did. The problem is the icon is broke, not that the executable isn't there is nonfunctioning.

All you're really doing is changing the link from :MSPPT to PPT.EXE. I think somewhere along the line the program name changed from MSPPT to PPT, either the program name or the in the link file. The other office links are to EXE files other then the OneNote, which is still :MSONENOTEMOBILE. Not sure why. Maybe the experts have a clue how/why this changes.

I used the B2B ROM this weekend as a tether for my laptop. But I noticed after a while that my phones battery was drained. It seems that it wasn't charging the battery while I was tethering. Anyone else notice this before?

IE smart zoom sucks compared to Opera.

I would have asked for his bank account username and password, and told him I'd check it out and let him know what I found:headbang:

I've only tethered a few times, and only one of those would have been long enough to impact the battery, and it was definately charging then.

Have you tethered before with that laptop, and are you certain it was charging then, too?

The reason I ask is because laptops can have reduced USB power output, especially if the laptop is running on battery itself. The reduced power may not have been enough to charge the phone.

Ok, very funny:mrgreen:.. well If I use Opera, then one of my problems is that Opera no longer imports bookmarks? I know Older versions used to ask if you wanted to import from IE....is this possible???
Thanks, Dave

I was tempted :)

I think there was something posted in this thread early on about how to save the IE favorites via text file?

I could be wrong and it could have also been archived like the first 100+ pages of this thread.

because my online Banking now works with IE, But my only problem is that
even with text size on the largest setting everything is SO small. There is no Zoom in ? Am I missing something? any tweaks that can help?
Thanks, Dave

Dave using your stylus press and hold in the browser, a menu pops up, and my bottom selection is zoom level. If you installed the beta version of IE I think you can find it in the menu soft button

Even using the zoom option in the beta that is in both the kitchen and the pre-built ROMs, the zoom feature is limited.

Opera is still much better than IE when it comes to the smart zoom INMHO.
