Changing outgoing mail port

My mail server does not let me send mail via port 25. How do I change the port on the Touch Pro so that I can use it to send mail?

Re: Changing outgoing mail port

When you're setting up the email settings, enter the SMTP address as: mail.server.com:1234 (with 1234 being the port number ... such as 587 is a usual standard.

NOTE: You cannot edit an existing email setup, it must be done from scratch. This is a bug in WM 6.1.

PS: You may also require authentication to be turned on as well.

Re: Changing outgoing mail port

John, that did the trick. Thanks! The geeks at the Sprint Store told me it couldn't be done. I knew there had to be a way!
