Unlocking with Vista - Touch Pro Verizon

Unlocking with Vista seems near impossible..... hours of research/attempts has yielded nothing but Error 240 File Open. I've turned off firewalls, administrative controls, reloaded the sync software, hard and soft rests -nada . Error happens when u launch ROMupdateUtility. Has any one solved the Vista Sync issue?

There is no vista sync issue...... In-fact I have unlocked on Vista X64 and Windows 7 X64. Perhaps something is wrong with your computer and or the usb port your phone is plugged into.

You have some sort of PC issues. Try booting in safe mode or another PC? Not sure about the safe mode though.

I know that you can do it thought. Did it about 5 times on Vista SP1 32 Bit.

To me it sounds like your unlocker is corrupt. Tell me if you have any NBH files in the unlocker folder while its running. I woudl still download and try again. You could also have a corrupt download.
