OK back on topic does anyone have benchmark results for this ROM?

How does it compaire to Juicy's Roms? I'm using one of his now, and am happy with it, but I'm always looking to try something new and better!

I'm using Juicy's 4.7 right now, while I love the ROM, it is giving me a few minor problems so I think I will give this a try. I will report back on any differences.

JD 1 question while I wait for my battery to get to 50%, does this ROM have Sprint Picture Mail installed?? I have been using the latest Arcsoft MMS app and prefer its interface, but also noticed issues if sprint picture mail is installed as well.

no sprint picture mail is not installed if i could get arcsoft to work fully I'd include it

What problems have you had with it, is it including it in a ROM or using it at all? Currently I have Arcsoft 5.xxxx installed and everything works great, send and receive is fast, and I love that it no longer creates a seperate email in box, but instead incorperates the pics into the sms application.

I have been running the ROM since the early AM and love the speed, however I noticed one minor annoyance this morning. When I am having a conversation with someone through text and close out there is still an indication of unread texts from that person. Is there a reg edit for this, or is it something with the sys used? Its not a big problem, but just gets annoying having to open the conversation for each text received from a person.

i spent over 2 hrs trying to get arcsoft 5.xxxx to work man.. i flashed 4 different roms and nothing.. i can send mms and i receive them but it NEVER downloads the picture!!! arrgghhh its driving me nuts!!

Sorry to hijack the thread, but what error are you getting? I havent had anyone send me a pic since loading this ROM so I'm not sure how its working, I will have a friend send something then report back.

im not necessarily getting an error, the pic just never downloads thats all. It comes in and tells me i have a new mms but it NEVER downloads..lol.. but report back and let me know pls..

You know... benchmarks really don't mean squat. Its real-world performance that matters and you can measure that yourself through using the ROM.

I've seen ROMs that look great on benchmarks... and are totally non-functional and buggy pieces of crap. JD doesn't go as much for speed as he does quality. Just back up your current set up and flash.

Yea but for most people here flashing a new rom, pending there are no major bugs in it, faster speed = better quality. Most of the rom's here have very few bugs, certainly ones that are fixed the next day if not within hours. The next big thing to people is speed.

I agree. I believe speed is important since WinMo is synonymous with laggy. Its a huge ding against WinMO when compared to other platforms like the iphone and G1 .
