Yea but for most people here flashing a new rom, pending there are no major bugs in it, faster speed = better quality. Most of the rom's here have very few bugs, certainly ones that are fixed the next day if not within hours. The next big thing to people is speed.

I agree. I believe speed is important since WinMo is synonymous with laggy. Its a huge ding against WinMO when compared to other platforms like the iphone and G1 .

Re: se7en 1-29-08

Let me throw in here as someone who actually used the ROM..My observations, GREAT!!

Just like most of JD's stuff this ROM is great. I got my TP last November and JD's was the very first custom ROM that I flashed. I've since then become a flashaholic, a chronic flasher, flash obsessed, etc.etc.etc.

One thing I noticed about this ROM right away was that even though I wasn't able to change the pagepool with the pagepool changer, this ROM screams. I normally run all of my ROM's with a 32 MB PP. I think someone said earlier that this ROM was set at 6. If that is the case, my question is, JD what in the world did you do to make this thing so freakin fast???

For those chefs who like to cook, you could do far worse than building off of this ROM which JD has so graciously opened up and supplied the ROM folder.

Take it from a chronic flasher, this ROM is worth it. AS for the lack of UC support, shoot, I started using Sashimi as a backdrop a long time ago so UC support is of no consequence to me.

Great ROM JD!!!Thank you

yes it is normal for activesnyc to stay open or reopen if you close it ... if this bothers you goto the settings for the taskmanager and and it to the exclusive list so that it does not show up in the quickmenu on the today screen ... the notification for emails will not go away until you read the messages or open them at least in tmail
