Introducing KRiSTAL3D v1.3 Ultimate SD Edition
My service is with Verizon and so I can't test the Sprint ROM. But I made a Sprint ROM for testing. I'll try to correct any errors with the feedback you provide. The VZW ROM work awesome. Page Pool is 16. You can change it using the page pool changer in "RUU" folder in Step 2 download. GPS works VZ Navigator and also with Google Maps. System Files Should Be The Most Recent. TF3D KRiSTAL3D Theme and Glass Weather. Preset Programs Tab and Google Gear Bookmarks.I added some of my favorite music incase you didn't have any music files to get you started. The Calendar on home screen activates Thumbcal. My Ultimate SD Edition is intergreated for the easiest setup. This is prefect for noobs and requires little or no extra customization. I tested each of these applications to check if they are able to run off the Storage Card. I have a Touch Pro and that is what I used tested. I use the application on occasion and wanted to save disk space on my device.

I would have to say the majority of the application ran very smoothly. Some of the applications required additional file and I already added them. But there are still a couple that require a work around. (Make Sure To READ The "FAQ / KNOWN ISSUES / FIXES" Section)

Then I made a cab that contains all shortcut files to the applications. The links are organized into the following categories. Games, Multimedia, Office, System Tools, and Network. I have this cab in the Boot Directory of my Storage Card and it perfect for UC installs.

FAQ / KNOWN ISSUES / FIXES

ALL SOFTWARE IS EITHER FREEWARE OR SHAREWARE. SHAREWARE TITLES ARE TRIALS. IF YOU LIKE THE SOFTWARE BUY IT.

THIS SHOULD WORK WITH ANY CUSTOM ROM.

(ISSUE 1) MS Word runs fine but when creating a new document fails to load.
Editing and Saving an existing document run perfectly.
(FIX 1) So the work around for it would be to edit an existing blank document and save as.

(ISSUE 2) When I ran the direct application ,
I noticed that the application would not register in the start button MUI.
(FIX 2) I made a shortcut link file to the application.
By clicking on the link file in the program now shows up on your MUI.
(Link Files MUST be located in the "/Windows/Start Menu/Programs/" Directory.

(ISSUE 3) It's very important to copy the files to the this specific location.
If the location is incorrect.
You will notice that the shortcut link icon is not of the application.
Plus, the program will not run from the link.
(FIX 3) The Directory to copy the files to on the storage card is at the root "Program Files" Folder.
ex: \Storage Card\Program Files\

(ISSUE 4) If you don't like a program or it's not compatible with your device.
(FIX 4) Simply delete it.

(ISSUE 5) Do I have to Install the Cab?
(FIX 5)No, I included all the shortcut files in a folder.
Just copy or move these files to anywhere you like.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Step 1: Unzip and Copy all the files to the same folder on your Storage Card.

All Program can be ran from the SD Card.
The "Boot" Folder is where you place additional cabs that you wish to autorun UC.

Check All the highlighted apps during Tier Auto-install.
These files are required to completing my Theme.

The "Opera" Folder is required for Opera To Work.
I cooked the Major Opera files into the ROM.
I edited opera.ini file to point the directory to the storage card.
I moved the files that could be moved to SD to save space on the device.
I edited opera.ini file to be able to have 7 tabs instead of only 3 tabs.

This MUST be done before you flash the rom.

Step 2: Flash the ROM
The rom is actually quite small with all the customization I did.

*Addition SD CARD Instructions*
(Not Necessary If You Completed Step 1.)
1. COPY ALL THE FILES INSIDE "Program Files" FOLDER.
2. COPY TO OR PASTE TO THE "Program Files" FOLDER ON YOUR STORAGE CARD.
(*If you do not have a "Program Files". Make one in the root of the Storage Card.*)
3. INSTALL THE CAB

There was someone who responded about the page pool setting. I didn't get to you name to be able to respond to you. If your him. Pm me. I have been trying to figure out why my program memory is set pretty low. If you can help I would appreciate it.

I spent lots of time figureing the optimized settings when I was lllboredlll out of my mind one day. Plus my users hlped alot too. I had people tesing all sorts of stuff and It hink 9 is really the best.

Dont worry about the closing of the thread. Mods just do what they have to do to protect the board. Let it go... Dont take it personal man. Just let it ride and give good support on this ROM. Trust me on this one....

Let me know what Q's you ahve on PP settings....

I just changed the pp setting to 9 like you said. Anyways, I see other people page pool settings brings up their program memory to 192-204mb. Mine for some reason is set at 104mb. I tried reading the threads to try to fix this. Is this a problem with vzw roms? Thanks for your help.

I just PM'ed you but I will reiteratet for all those that wnat to understand...

Our device, VZW Pro, only has HALF the memory of the other Pro's like sprint.

We are starting with a base of 128 megs, they go with 256 ;c(

We will never see the free mem they have which is why I recomend dropping it to to either 9 or 12.

9 is 150% stock, 12 is 200 % stock. Anything after that you face the posbilities of dimiinshing returns meaning that you will get less performance the higher you go. You need to find a balance. I (IMHO) feel that balance falls between 9 and 12.

For average everday peeps, go with 9. For power users, try 12.... Experiment.

I got this guy, duimitir, that uses my ROM's and does beta testing for me... He runs that thing at 24 some times!!!! Its all about perfernace and what you expect to get for perf. What your apps want vs what you want.

I want to try this ROM but I am SOOOOO dam confused. How many things do I have to download? Its says step1 step 2 ect. Is there just 1 thing to download or more? Can someone help unconfuse me. Ive never been so confused just to flash a rom,lol
