Re: SOLVED: How to Sync HTC Touch Pro with Ubuntu Linux Hardy Heron 8.04 (Synce)

Quick question, does this also make you able to use the HTC Touch pro for tethering?
I ask because I have some strange problems tethering my phone with debian testing (see: http://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.p...261093#p261093 )
TIA

can you flash with this? I know you can always just mount your storage card and flash that way, but if you can flash via usb with synce, I am totally going back to gentoo. ROM development is the only thing keeping me on windows

when i ran linux some time ago, i would plug the phone in and when the OS recognized it, i would just run ics and linux would find the connection and use it. nothing special to tether.

Re: SOLVED: How to Sync HTC Touch Pro with Ubuntu Linux Hardy Heron 8.04 (Synce)

Thanks for the post.
I did all your instructions, when I open the program I've this warning

Failed to retrieve partnership information: Failed to execute program /usr/bin/sync-engine: Success

And when try to open nautilus I got this

Nautilis can't open place «synce»

What do I've to do?
