This may not be what you want...but I wanted mine to go back to how the words would pop-up as I typed in the window above the cursor...where it would predict as I typed. This cab put my TP back to what it use to be like...

The HD is the theme and manila ripped from the HD. I cooked it into my rom and it works great. Have to use the "start manila" program to start it after a reset, but its not a big deal to me.

Thanks, that was driving me crazy.
I didn't realize I had to start it that way.

GPS lag tracking

Thx for correcting me... =D>

GC (if you are watching) or anyone knowledgeable...!

GPS lag & slow tracking...GC you had a xv6800 and helped me and others on xda to get gps working...it is working on the VZW TP with this ROM (kitchen).

I have read here and on xda and there is a lot about the lagging with the TP. My device hits the address on traget which the 6800 was a few feet off always. However the TP does not track well turn by turn always lagging behind or if I detour off the road lagging\hanging to get back on track. This is using TT7 only.

GC since you have a TP now and have done so much development & fixing with GPS I want to know what is your experience with TT7 and the gps lagging? People post to use the HTC GPS Tool (results are not consistent & nor which setting to apply) so what have you or any knowledgable recommend if there is a fix to this lag on the TP?

Re: GC's Touch Pro ROMs & Kitchen 2.1.4

I installed the kitchen, This is abselutely the cleanest and fastest ROM i came across.... Thanks so much.
YOU ROCK!!!!!!

one thing though I installed the kitchen and selected Sprint for my sprint touch pro.
but i see a 3g on my bar. also when trying to access epst i have to press ##778 send instead of ##778#...
does that mean that im roming on verizon network, or its just the way its set up. And should i be concerned about it at all?

Thanks in advance!!1

GC changed this in his rom to 3g over the Evo. It is stated somewhere here but this is correct for this rom...

GC...thanks for the kitchen! I was using KK's loaded rom which I think is great, but decided to give this a shot since I didn't use many of the apps/games on KK's rom. Thanks again!

I clicked the thank you on the post, but wanted to thank you again, you may have kept me from going insane. That was the most annoying word corrector I've ever seen and the worst part is that it only came up when using the keyboard, precisely when I didn't need or want it. Things are much better now.

Re: GC's Touch Pro ROMs & Kitchen 2.1.4

A weird problem I'm having is that the game "Puzzle Quest: Warlords" doesn't save when I run GC's ROM. Games saved just fine with the Stock VZW rom though. I just thought I'd pass the information on in hopes there's a fix.

I also wish there was a way to stretch PQ to the full VGA screen size instead of this tiny window. Oh well, saved games are more important.
