Ok, pretty mnuch done wiht what we can for bottom half.....

Going to look at service manual for top half though....


That will be tommorow. I will get site updated shorlty with is res pics.

ok, what do you mean? can Verizon users update the internal memory from 122 to 244?

Doubtfull.... I thought I saw the mem chip but it wasnt. Well ifi twas when I googled it only one singel place hit! And it was for some company that reprograms chips and sells this thing to do it with so I am sure its not mem now.

Top half will be apart tommorow night. Just got alot of other things going on right now.

Ras wants to try removing the RAM chip now. Will read service manual but its a BGA chip, I can see that. He deosnt beleive me!

Oh and this is interesting... after comparing the Sprint Pro chip number for ram they are only off by one single digit.... Take a look.....

Ok here is what we have for tonight.... RAM is very easily viewed. Seems like the saem model as Sprint but one digiti off... Prolly not going ot unlock any secret mem as I was hoping. One digit in model could mean 128 or 256. Anyone with skills reading and googling these chips? Would love to hear from you! Really love it! Cause I dont know.... So... If you do... Give us some schooling please!!!

Ok, about to start top half tear down....

Found mem chip but still cannot identify it....

Doing this to bump!

I know give mad respect to Nex for *****ing at me that one time. I TOTALLY FELL HIS PAIN NOW! so many damn NOOB questions not even in the right forum! Ughh!

As far as memory goes, highly doubt you'll get it out of there if you can't pop it out. That would be one of those things that they probably wouldn't even replace at the factory if it failed. The whole board would go

Dont doubt.

Im an iso certified soldering guru and have the iso certification paper work to prove it.

Secondly have worked on MUCH MUCH harder stuff than this.

I can repair multi layer proto boards.....

Son, IM dangerous!
