Well here is my addition. The service manual. http://www.htcdriver.com/uploads/service/raphael.pdf (I know I posted the link in your other thread but now we have this one)
Also I get my 2nd warranty replacement this week so if you need help or whatever, I can dig in before I send the old one back. I haven't taken one apart before but lots of laptops. One trick on the seams with the snap/barb is to use a plastic knife type tool or put tape on a flat screw driver so you dont scratch anything. I noticed the void sticker on top of one of those screws. I know you are past this already but a good trick is to use an exacto with the sharp point to poke it off and save. Are ther any screws under any of those black stickers? Glad to see you working on it, let me know if I can be of help. I am curious to see what you find.

But is a BGA chip.... I dont have tools to remove. Expensive todo that....

Yeah, I know that ;c) Been doing this for years but it was so freakin hard to get those things unsnapped we did end up scratching. Nothing broke or betn though....

No. Just an RF port and the other one on the bottom, the big one, it covers nothing....
