Re: Registry Edits?
You can make texts longer than 160 on stock roms, i believe..
but the touch pro uses wm6.1, and there is a forum for for registry teaks: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/forumdisplay.php?f=27 if theres anything that you'd like in particular, do a quick search..if you don't find your anwser, try posting in that forum for what youre looking for (Google is your friend too) Good Luck! |

Re: Registry Edits?
How can you increase the character limit on text messages when it's a network limitation?

Re: Registry Edits?
Basically, the tweak (if it exists...I don't know because I never looked) will allow you to continue typing past 160 characters but when it is sent it will be broken down by count. It bypasses the annoyance of having to start a new text because you reached 160.

Here is what mine does
Ok, here is what mine does... See screenye....
It just appends the message automatically and indicates 2 messages will be sent. Pay attention to Top left corner. My RMO does this and I belive the stock did as well... THINK stock did.... I dont ever use this thing to message so I never botherd to check stock but I recal my G/F Q doing this as well and I can assure there are not hacks onthat and she is still running WM6.0 EDIT: Im too slow!!!! Here is the screenshot for the next guy that needs it ;c) |
