Why not leave this up for a couple of days so people who don't come online every day can find the new one easier. Your first page could have a link,
Your last post could also say "Post all future messages on new link. This link is for reference only" and give the new link again. Plus, there is a lot of good info here for people who haven't played with the beta....They (like talking about ME) might need it.

Good point! I'll talk to COZ and see what he says. I planned on leaving this up on the site and calling it the "stable release" and 1.5 the most current beta. You will have two selections.

Now if... THE USERS can post in the right thread this should be fine with me.

What do yo guys think of the 1.5B2? If tis ready then it will be closer to 6:00PM. If you want me to rework it and try to find the bugs that I cant reproduce wiht the ringer and text messaging then it will be 4:00am.


What do you guys think? What ROM do you want and watch kitchen release do you want? Im open, I have all the files and have my phone running the way I want it.

I am liking the 1.5b2....after getting my ringer issue resolved! It seems a bit faster (could be a placebo effect or maybe my memory is fading) than the previous versions. Battery life seems the same. I would like to see one based on 1.5b2....but maybe spend a small amount of time on the issues reported!

There you go, thats the typoe of guidance I am looking for!

I think I am going to take the fresh OEM split and just part out a ocuple things this time. Make it more like 1.2 but add the updated modules from 1.5. Giving too many default selctions also makes it not so Simple any more. So yeah, I will rework the OEM pack test it out then post it. I will call it RC1. I will post all three kitchens but just do a single standard ROM off each. So you will have three ROM's with the same selections to try as well as the matching kitchen.

Hows that sound?

Will these be betas or final versions? If you could give a brief description of the differences between the 3 ROMs when you post them, that would be great. Not so much a high-level description of XIPs etc, but dumbed down to my level... i.e. What operating differences I'll see or experience with each of the three ROMs.

I've held off from using the betas due to the reported ring issue but I'm looking forward to being able to flash again.
