TLS Manila is SLOW by far. No questions asked. Also reports of keyboard lag and all sorts of stuff..... Yeah, thats normal. Sad to say. Someone put up a new version that compressed all the files to make it faster. HOWEVER: If you cook it in its not as bad! Im not going to go into the Why's.... But just trust me on this ;c)

Dont uninstall.. Hard reset man... It will be faster and more stable

Ah ok that makes complete sense then. So I already uninstalled which took forever! haha thanks for this info after the fact lol. So ill re-install and hard reset. What is faster though? If i cook it into a custom ROM (which i will prob do later) or install on the standard ROM and hard reset?

The gains are marginal but tyou will get better results if you cook in using the OEM.

Here is what needs to be kept in mind:

The animated maniula is version 1.0
The current version is 1.3

I got alot of knowlede i wan to get rid of but can never think of anything when I try to write it all down.... Damn drugs! makin me forget things!

BTW, this shiznit is fast. waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay faster than the stock VZW one. jesus was i missing out. seriously its awesome. you were right too im glad i flashed the standard first so i can see what i like and dont like. also put your vz nav theme black, its tight. i like the clock and the icons, and the speed is still there too. but i noticed that you took some tabs out and what not, so looks like i will be cooking a rom later on so that i can put those tabs back in haha.

EDIT: heres something weird. so i sent myself a test text message from my own phone i.e. i went to new message, put my own number in and said "test" in the body of the text. all works fine received it and what not. but now everytime i soft reset the phone, the same text message gets resent to me! any ideas?

EDIT 2: the "start" clicking sound is STILL there.

EDIT 3: Now the clicking sound is showing up in other menus as well, esp when im text messaging. i press menu and it clicks!!! eeeek. any ideas? Should i reflash? Hard reset?

EDIT 4: ok soft reset again and the text thing didnt happen so maybe a glitch but its all good now. but that clicking sound is really getting mad annoying!

So everything is fine except clicking sound? What clicking sound. I never had it??????????? Are you sure didint add anything?

EDIT But yeah, bet you didint know that your phone could go that fast!

Nope didn't add anything except installing/uninstalling TLR and then installing vz black theme from the ssk repo.

When I press "start" with touch or stylus it makes a "click" sound. Then the dropdown menu appears and let's say I click file explorer and another "click" sound. If I go to compose a new text and then click the "menu" softkey on the right it makes the same "click" sound and once that menu pops up I click let's say "options" and it makes a "click" sound again. Even from the home screen if I click the left softkey "contacts" that will get me into contacts just fine but once there if I click "menu" on the right soft key again a "click" sound and once that menu pops up I can pick something and it will make that sound again.

I went to tf3d options and turned off the "enable sound while scrolling.." but there are still sounds and I soft reset like 5 times and no change.

Sorry for the ramble.

EDIT: ok so it had to do with event sounds. I went to settings tab and clicked off event sounds and the clicks stopped. What's weird is that I never had those clicks on stock vzw rom and I had event sounds on in the settings tab.

So what sounds am I exactly losing now since I turned it off??

And I was just about to start pulling apart the kitchen.... UGHHhhhhh.... Your lucky mister!!!!!!

Anways, you are not missing anything at all. Except the posibility of loosing your sanity!!!! Those clicks are over the edge for me.
